Unfair invasion of privacy

I was involved in a very contentious law suite with a hospital which was eventually settled. Leagle.com posted the first ruling on the website which makes it appear as if I lost the case. They did not include my appeal and ultimate settlement. The website has damaged my reputation. I asked for the information to be removed very politely but they refused. I would like to join any class action action lawsuite.

leagle.com is owned by a Shakeel Mustafa

leagle.com is owned by a Shakeel Mustafa and he has posted completely fraudulent contact info as he posted the owners name as a “Donald Johnson” with an Arkansas address and phone number. Its all a sham and the owner of leagle.com is nothing but a scam artists who doesn’t want to get a real job, so he set up this site leagle.com and has monetized it, in order to make money by way of “clicks” and has “cookies” placed on your computers. So, understand that the name “Donald Johnson” is all made up by the leagle.com website owner, as his name is Shakeel Mustafa. Shakeel Mustafa has made extortion attempts against me, in order to remove a negative URL and after not going along with he has literally “boosted” presence of this URL and has done something, in order to keep this URL at the top of the Google Search Engine. Now Shakeel Mustafa has made phone numbers and addresses all over the USA. I contacted him at a Palo Alto, California number 650-319-8188, then after contacting him he then shut this number down. Now Shakeel Mustafa has a phone number in Round Rock, Texas 512-998-9989 and a fake address of 1832 Bayland Rd, Round Rock, Texas. Shakeel Mustafa is of Indian or Pakistan descent and there is a possibility that the owner for leagle.com is operating out of a foreign country. The Hosting company for leagle.com is Softlayer.com out of Dallas, Texas and I have sent several abuse complaints to Softlayer.com but so far they have not been responsive. The owner of Softlayer.com is now IBM as of about two years ago, so perhaps IBM can clamp down on Softlayer.com as they are enabling this criminal behavior to go on for the sole purpose of making money. Lastly and very important is the fact that the website owner of leagle.com has committed criminal acts here in the USA by opening up accounts with LexisNexis for example under fake names, addresses and other fraudulent information, in order to gain access to personal and private information on Americans so that he can make a buck off the back of people here in the USA, without any regard for anyone’s career, reputation or safety. I am ready and willing to file assist in filing a class action lawsuit against the website owner of leagle.com, the Hosting Company Softlayer.com and the parent company IBM. Also, we have to contact the companies that possess this information such as LexisNexis, Westlaw and/or Pacer and communicate to them that the website owner of leagle.com is a foreign national most likely operating from a foreign country and is opening up accounts with these database companies by completely lying to them and filling out their forms with fraudulent information, in order to gain access to people’s legal cases and other personal and private information, which is in itself a crime here what’s going on. The website owner of leagle.com even has a fake Twitter account showing that leagle.com is out of Washington, D.C., which is just another lie. Shakeel Mustafa has been contacted by the police and he told them that he is the owner of leagle, inc and when the authorities asked him for his address Shakeel Mustafa gave them a “gmail account” and lied to the police. So, the authorities think that the website owner for leagle.com is possibly operating out of India or Pakistan and can easily obtain a US phone number and just make up a US physical address to give his website some credibility but again its all lie made up by Shakeel Mustafa.

Let’s get all the people together that we can that have been harmed by leagle.com and we will file a lawsuit not only against leagle.com but against the Hosting Company Softlayer.com and IBM for allowing this to go on without checking anything out when it comes to Hosting this criminal and then when they have been informed about the wrongdoing of leagle.com are not responsive to anybody’s concerns when it comes to removing a URL from their database. Also, we have to find out how the website owner of leagle.com is able to open up accounts with database companies, such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. We need to inform these database companies that the website owner of leagle.com has opened fraudulent accounts with them, in order to gain access to personal and private information on Americans for his own financial benefit.

Together we will put a stop to this leagle.com website and shut it down once and for all. Everyone needs to post their info somewhere in a manner so that we can communicate together and file these lawsuits against leagle.com and its Hosting Company Softlayer.com and the parent company IBM.

leagle.com is owned by a Shakeel Mustafa

leagle.com is owned by a Shakeel Mustafa who is an Indian or Pakistan national and may be operating leagle.com from outside of the USA. All contact information for leagle.com is completely fraudulent and made up. There is no “Donald Johnson” and the address in Arkansas and phone number are all made up. I was able to track this Shakeel Mustafa down to a Palo Alto, California number 650-319-8188 and he made extortion attempts, then changed his phone number. Shakeel Mustafa’s new number is in Round Rock, Texas 512-998-9989. Remember all contact information for leagle.com is fraudulent. Also, this Shakeel Mustafa has gained access to US databases such as LexisNexis and Westlaw by way of fraud and fraudulently filling out the information for these database companies giving made up information. The Hosting Company for leagle.com is Softlayer.com out of Dallas, Texas and is now owned by IBM. So far Softlayer.com has been completely unresponsive to any URL take down requests and are enabling leagle.com to continue his business enterprise. Although, that may change soon once IBM finds out how dirty and unethical Softlayer.com is in dealing with legitimate complaints. Also, Google has a hand in this as Google posts these URL’s at the top of their Search Engine and the URL won’t budge from there and if one has already noticed Google always has to force at a minimum of three URL’s pertaining to anyone on their Search Engine. Google has grown way to big and become a bully in the cyber world and behaves like a bunch of criminals, where they simply don’t care about anyone but themselves and do not respond to legitimate URL take down requests. In my opinion Google is in violation of the US Sherman Act, which is the Act pertaining to the break up of monopolies in the USA, We need to get together and contact LexisNexis and Westlaw, as a first step to stop the illegal downloading of people’s personal and private information on to the leagle.com website and put a stop to this website once and for all by filing a class action lawsuit not only against leagle.com but against the Hosting Company Softlayer.com and IBM as they now have the knowledge about what leagle.com is doing and continues to do and so far have not shut leagle.com down. We need to find the exact location of the owner of leagle.com even if its in a foreign country, in order to be able to contact this person through Interpol. leagle.com also has a fake Twitter account showing that leagle.com is in Washington, D.C., which again is all made up, in order to legitimize leagle.com. Everything about leagle.com is made up and fraudulent and that’s why he ignores people because he thinks that he won’t be located by the authorities. The Hosting Company of leagle.com, which is Softlayer.com out of Dallas, Texas needs to take action and let the public know who and where the owner of leagle.com is. Though, so far the website owner of leagle.com has given fraudulent contact information to everyone here in the USA. We need to get together and file the necessary legal documents against leagle.com. Softlayer.com and IBM starting with a “Cease and Desist” letter then go from there. Our goals is to have leagle.com permanently shut down for criminal activities, identify the owner and his whereabouts and to not let this person open another website in the USA.

Shakeel Mustafa owns leagle.com

The owner of leagle.com is a scoundrel parasite named Shakeel Mustafa! A Donald Johnson does not exist! This is all made up by this Shakeel Mustafa an Indian or Pakistan national. He had a number in Palo Alto, California 650-319-8188 which he closed shortly after I contacted him and he threatened me and made extortion attempts. Now his new number is 512-998-9989 and he has another fake address in Round Rock, Texas and all of his contact information is completely made up and bs. This Shakeel Mustafa even set up a Twitter account for leagle.com showing that its in Washington, D.C. when its not in D.C. at all. The owner of leagle.com is a real slippery creep scumbag parasite who will lie to you if you ever get hold of him, making up all kinds of bs tales. Don’t believe anything this guy says, because Shakeel Mustafa is the owner of leagle.com. We need to shut leagle.com and his Hosting Company is Softlayer.com based out of Dallas, Texas, which is now owned by IBM.

Leagle.com carelessly, purposely and remorslessly violates people's constitutional right to privacy by reporting ALL legal cases on the internet regardless of whether they are sealed or not. A few years ago I was involved in a very contentious legal case which contained multiple violations of personal privacy. At the time the case was sealed and I had an order to take it off the internet with all the companies that had it on the internet at the time. I tried to contact Leagle.com to have them remove it, but got no response after emailing them at their "contact" email address (they have no phone number online), but I got no response even after over 20 tries. I finally tried to find their address from somewhere else on the web and wrote to them by regular mail and included the order to take it off the internet... but still no response. I finally got another email address for someone at the company and emailed him. He was VERY rude and refused to take the case off the internet. I contacted the Better Business Bureau to see if they could help, but Leagle.com refused to listen to even the BBB. Leagle.com is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. Their attitude about people's personal privacy is horrendously careless and flippant and their business should be stopped!

leagle.com

leagle.com aka leagle,Inc. aka LEAGLE aka fake Twitter account @leaglebriefs showing their location as Washington, D.C. is a criminal enterprise, owned by a foreign national who uses United States Laws against the people. The owner of leagle.com has absolutely no basis to hide behind the First Amendment, as he is a foreign national who is most likely operating from outside the USA and has no legal right to hide behind the US First Amendment. People should file complaints with the Attorney General's Office, FBI's IC3, FCC, FTC and realize that a website like leagle.com is associated and perhaps owns other websites, such as unitedstatescourts.org, plainsite.org, ravellaw.com and other. These websites are violating the US RICO statutes and IRS Criminal and Civil Codes, as they are not transparent about their assets and some of these websites like leagle.com use US based agents to do their dirty work for them, while the owner is possibly lviing in some foreign country. The Hosting company for leagle.com is Softlayer.com out of Dallas, Texas, which is now owned by IBM and their Domain company is NetworkSolutions, LLC ouf of Jacksonville, Texas. You can file a lawsuit based on the RICO crimina and civil statutes in either State or Federal Courts. You can ask for large monetary damages and essentially shut these websites down. Also, you can contact other agencies if these websites mentioned publish your real signatures online, like the Secret Service and you can go to your local FBI office as well to file a complaint against these criminal websites.

Leagle.com has no merit for posting personal information on-line. The problem is without further investigation companies and individuals doing a quick search on a person come up with a legal document and will draw a negative conclusion which is often wrong. The lack of information will prevent companies from hiring family members with similar names, investors, and other business transactions; because even if a person is not litigious - when a company breaks the law sometimes it needs to be brought to someone’s attention. Thus, www.leagle.com leads to defamation of character and libel claims, because it does not provide the full story on the case matter.

Someone should look at records on companies or recruiting contacts, banks or other contacts hitting the site of people who are listed or associated with people who are on www.leagle.com. Then caculating lost revenue to deterime losses.

The companies mentioned like leagle.com. Peekyou, Homemetry, Reunion, 411, Intellius and companies similar to these on the Search Engines are gaining access to people's private and personal information and then posting this information on the Search Engines. Now these companies pretend like they are not making any money or have no benefits from doing these things. Though, this is not true because these companies obtain people's information somehow and the many times post the wrong information about a person on the Search Engine's and make money through Advertisers, Marketing Companies and by other means. These companies pretend that they have a First Amendment Right to obtain people's information and then without permission post people's personal and private information on all Search Engine's with absolutely no regard for the people that they have stolen their information from. First Amendment has its limits, as these companies are literally going out of their way to acquire people's data and then amass it and sell it for profit and then pretend that they have a right to do this because the data is public, without ever checking to see if the information they have been throwing on the Search Engine's is even 100% accurate.

In 2014 the European Court enacted a new law called "Right to be Forgotten", which give European Citizens the right to have their URL's and private information removed from Google and other Search Engines, without having to jump through hoops. Now many of these companies mentioned have "Opt-Out" solutions on their sites but many also make intentionally next to impossible to follow through with the "Opt-Out" form because these thieves want people to upload an id like a Driver's License and then also upload other personal data like date of birth, or place of current residence and this makes no sense. These companies that make people upload an official id, in order to remove a URL or "Opt-Out" is just a form of blackmail and then these companies obviously just get more private information to use and sell to other companies. Nobody should have to upload any id for these companies and all of these companies who are ripping people off and blackmailing the public by wanting people to upload their government issued id is just illegal. One company leagle.com post legal decisions that they somehow acquire and then post online even if the information is not 100% accurate they don't care at all. There is no real contact information for leagle.com and nobody seems to know their address, or who the owner is, in order to send them the notice of a lawsuit. Informtion is given about leagle.com that they are locate in Arkansas and there is a telephone number that is oiut of order. leagle.com makes their money like these other companies by posting people's private and personal information online and then companies advertise on their sites and Marketing companies want access to their unethical way of gaining access to people's private information. These companies want the public's private information to be transparent and known to the whole world. Though, almost none of these companies are transparent when it comes to their owners' names, their addresses and any of their private information is simply not accessible. This is where these companies are illegally hiding behind the First Amendment and claim that they have a right to people's private information because its "public". This makes no sense at all because these companies mentioned only have one goal in mind and that is to sell the public's private information for public gain and many of these companies alter people's private information as they se fit and have no regard or concern for people's reputation or safety.

These companies mentioned need have lawsuits filed against them and simply put out of business, as the public also has the same First Amendment Right to their privacy and not to have their private information used in a defamatory manner. Some of these companies mentioned literally won't ever answer you unless they think you are dumb enough to sign up with your credit card for one of their scam services. One company even after posting your private information on the Search Engine's will take it off for money and want your credit card to do so. So, when it comes to the First Amendment Rights this should apply to the Citizens of the USA and not scam companies that steal people's private information and then post it on the Search Engine's to screw people over and make a profit out of this criminal behavior against the public.

Leagle.com extorts people by scanning for public information, however, inaccurate, outdated or libelous it may be. Leagle.com targets people with invalid information and makes no attempt to remedy, even when they know information is slanderous and libelous. Their actions are not merely inappropriate, but may be criminal in many states.

A number of years ago, my client received a divorce from her husband. After the case had settled, information about divorce proceedings were drafted as a matter of public record. My client soon discovered the information online and was extremely upset as this took place without her approval or knowledge.

Not only was/is this information private and personal, but my client never gave permission to any individual or website to publish the information online. As such, i worked with her to request the information removed from more than a dozen websites. All of the websites, except one complied. Do you know who that was? Leagle.com.

We contacted the site on numerous occassions and also received the name of donald johnson who is associated with the site, requesting removal. Donald johnson and whoever else is behind this website refused to take down the personal information about my client or simply make it unfindable via search.

Even though the information has caused my client undue hardship, the owners of the site have refused to change their position. Their only response was to petition the court to have the records sealed. Not only is this an expensive propostion, but time consuming as well.

I'm sure leagle.com will say, "this is public information, there's nothing illegal about it"... But it's immoral. What benefit, other than profit does the site possess. They clearly make money through advertising revenue and featured listings For which people most likely pay leagle.com for). When a website is willing to put profit before good sense and dignity, they must be called out on it.

I find the behavior of leagle.com to be disgraceful and believe the the attorney's and others associated with the site should see what leagle.com is doing to create web content on the backs of innocent individuals who have never given permission to share very personal details about their lives. In a word, disgraceful.

Post any contact information that you might have regarding leagle.com, which won’t be easy because the leagle.com’s owner has posted completely fake contact information online. This is the first thing that comes up when you search my name.

This could damage my ability to get a job or even a place to live.

I do not want this information readily available to anyone who happens to Google my name. And, in fact, it comes up as the first item on any google for my name. Please tell me what action I can take to prevent my information from being so easily accessible on the internet. How can I make it not longer searchable to the general public via the internet.

XXX v. XXX UNIV. | Leagle.com

www.leagle.com/decision/.../XXX%20v.%20XXX%20UNI

When this information appears in a credit report, it can cause denial of

a mortgage or a rental agreement and can adversely affect my ability

to get a job. But at least it drops from a credit report after a period of

years. Now it seems to be available indefinitely on the internet to anyone,

including those not doing legal research. I have contacted Leagle.com,

and Mr. Johnson refuses to alter his database in anyway to prevent

this item from appearing in a Google search. And it shows up as the

very first entry. I have tried "pushing it down" by adding new posts

online, but it continues to come up as the first result no matter how

much positive material I post to replace it.

After Mr. Johnson said he would be unwilling to the robotix filter so that the entry would not appear (and entries from sources like Lexis do not appear because Lexis uses the filter), I sent him the following email:

Dear Leagle.com,

I understand you will not remove the following entry.

XXX v. XXX UNIV. | Leagle.com

www.leagle.com/decision/.../XXXY%20v.%20XXX%20UNI...

On May 9, 2008, XXX's grievance committee determined that "Although XXX XXX was definitely informed that she was not being allowed to continue in ...

You've visited this page many times. Last visit: 3/20/16

However, you have chosen to make visible an excerpt buried well in the middle

of the facts portion of the case. In fact, it is the fifth paragraph of the document; the fourth paragraph listed under facts.

Other cases listed on your website do not seem to extract an obscure paragraph buried deep within the document to list on internet searches. For example, Jones v State reads as follows on an internet (Google) search:

JONES v. STATE | Leagle.com

www.leagle.com/decision/...11038/JONES%20v.%20STATE

Petition of Harold Jones for Certiorari to the Court of Criminal Appeals to review and revise the judgment and decision of that Court in Jones v. State, 56 Ala.

The information listed on the Google search, "Petition of Harold Jones ..." is indeed the very first paragraph of the document of the text available on your website.

Or take the example of

STATE v. CASTON | Leagle.com

www.leagle.com/decision/...1615/STATE%20v.%20CASTON

STATE of Louisiana, Appellee, v. Frank James CASTON, Appellant. LINDSAY, Judge. The defendant, Frank James Caston, was convicted of first degree murder ...

The information extracted to appear on an internet search is, again, text from the very first paragraph of the document as it appears on your site.

And yet, for some strange reason that I would very like you to explain, you have chosen to make the fifth paragraph -- listed under facts -- to be the text that appears on any random internet search. This paragraph does not contain the main argument of the case. Why have you chosen this paragraph? And can you not included in search the text from the first paragraph of the document as you seem to do in many of your other internet searches? "

Mr. Johnson has never responded but the damaging information remains unchanged -- and readily accessible on the internet.

I was threatened by the university with being blacklisted. I suspect the legal team at the university have paid Mr. Johnson to publish this damaging information as part of their threat to have me blacklisted.

The website has been contacted no less than 7 times over the last 4 -5 years, not including the "contact us" link. Most times, emails to [email protected] or to johnson's personal email kick back from his personal isp server. If they do get thru, he does not respond.

He and his companies have been contacted by the "spotlighted attorney" via snail mail, with no acknowledgement nor response. Complaints have recently been filed with the US DOJ, the FTC and the FCC. It was noted that someone on this forum was interested in joining in a lawsuit. I am filing suit in Federal Court. Please contact me.

There are several other avenues of relief available to us. The US Attorney handled mugshots.com and arrests.com in a strong manner when they were extorting large sums of money from people soley for removing their mug shots. The same karma should befall this POS.

They clearly make money through advertising revenue and featured listings (for which people most likely pay Leagle.com for).

The owner of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc. is not a "Donald Johnson" as shown on the web. The real owner of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc. is a guy named who has many different phone numbers, addresses and a lot of contact information that is completely fake to throw people off about who the real owner of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc. is.

Everything that one sees on ICANN or WHOIS about who the owner of leagle.com is completely made up to fool people about who the real onwer is of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc.

has had a fake phone number in Palo Alto, California where he made an extortion attempt against me and laughed the entire time on the phone, as he thinks destroying the lives of Americnas is very funny to him. He shut this phone number down after calling him as it was a made up number where the call was being forwarded to him to wherever he is. could very well be operating from outside the USA like many Hacker do and use made up US phone numbers and addresses to give people the impression that he is legit and located in the USA.

has a phone number in and the address is is a smooth talking sociopathic liar and manipulator. So, don't believe anything this Pakistan/Indian Con artist tells you because he is the owner of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc.

The Domain Company for leagle.com is NetworkSolutions, LLC out of Jacksonville, Florida and the Hosting Company for leagle.com is Softlayer.com out of Dallas, Texas which is now owned by IBM as of @2 years ago.

Distregard all ICANN contact information for leagle.com at 707 Pleasant View Drive #15, Little Rock, Arkansas as this is all made up by.

A contact address for leagle.com aka leagle,Inc. is at the following:

Red Diamond Business Associates, LLC

609 SW 8th St 6th Floor

Bentonville, Arkansas 72712

One must remember that is a criminal, hacker, con artists and a sociopath who will lie to you on the phone like its nothing for this scam artists. So, don't believe a word this con artist has to say because you can be assured that its all a lie.

has a leagle.com legal decision under his name but that is made up to fool people into thinking that he cannot be the owner of leagle.com. Again this legal decision along with everything else regarding is a scam.

website leagle.com will respond that he has the First Amendment Right to post people's legal information online, which ruins people's careers and reputations. The truth is that is not a US Citizen and may be operating from a foreign country so he has no First Amendment Rights to do anything that he is doing on his website leagle.com.

is basically fooling people who contact him as all he does is continuously lie to people.

End result is is the website owner of leagle.com aka leagle,Inc..

Destroyed my life

Lost a great job due to his posting of a 20 year old court case from when I was a kid. I'm at my wits end trying to figure out my next step.

I've filed a complaint with the Arkansas Attorney General, The Clerk of the Court, and the FBI Cyber Terrorist Bureau.

I'm waiting for a response. I'm all for the class action lawsuit please advise as to whom I should contact. This guy is bad news probably part of a terrorist cult or something. Whats really sad is it seams as though he cant be stopped. Google wont take it down, and who has the funds to hire an attorney?

I'm in on the class action suite

Leagle.com is evil and malicious

Leagle.com or Leagle Inc is evil and malicious. This "company" exists solely to destroy people's lives by having people's personal and highly sensitive information splattered all over Google searches. The legitimate law sites DO NOT do this. Donald Johnson only responds with his ridiculous meaningless form letter. It is not Donald Johnson's responsibility to make this information so public. Donald Johnson should be investigated by authorities for hurting so many people through his bogus website, and Leagle.com must be shut down.

This site posts erroneous data about supposed "legal" cases. I tried to contact them but there is no phone or person listed. I submitted a request via their "web link" but that is a joke.... ZERO RESPONSE. Judging from the numerous complaints I am not the only person defamed by them.

We are investigating Leagle.com Leagle Inc and the owner “Donald Johnson” (alias). The facts so far follow. He has a one person (convicted felon Donald L Johnson) web page and fake company Leagle.com and Leagle Inc. No people, no address, no working phone. The domain registration is probably fake and it is under investigation by ICANN. No human or identifying answer when calling the phone number listed there either. This is how Donald Johnson apparently operates his fraud. He purports to provide information about court cases in Leagle.com. However, when you run a search, frequently you do not get relevant results or even the case docket if you search for a docket, party or person as any reputable company will provide. Instead you get a few selected filings that involve embarrassing, defamatory or obvious privacy violations. He has a “comments” box, which content he controls completely and that he uses to fish the victim who wants the info removed. He does not remove the content that he placed to embarrass people, but apparently collects money from victims and agents hired by victims to remove the content in exchange for removal of the content that he himself placed on the internet. He will argue, as any good fraudster, that his actions are legal because the pages in his website are extracted from “public records.” Even if they are sealed by the courts and the fact that they were created by him and are therefore his content, that he even copyrights. Notice that his website leagle.com has no plausible way to make any money other than fraud. Google currently has complaints about Leagle’s copyright violations. We cannot give further details because it will compromise a criminal investigation.

The owner of Leagle goes by the name of Donald Johnson, however I've learned that is a fake name that he's using. The REAL owner of Leagle is Shakeel Mustafa! He uses fake contact information so it's nearly impossible to contact him. I've done research and found out that SHAKEEL created the Leagle logo. He's also listed as the "secretary" amongst other things. Shakeel has even created a court case for himself to throw people off. Please don't be fooled. He has ruined many lives and we deserve justice!
