We are in the process of ending our lease with this company and it is really ridiculous how much red tape we are going through to get a copier sent back
to them. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and the person I am communicating with is very rude. If you decide not to buy
their product you may as well know they are not going to help you in any way. It is costing more to get out of this contract than the copier cost- BEWARE
We leased a copy machine for our office through Leaf. Contacted the company 1 moth prior to the end of the lease to inquire about returning the equipment etc.
We were told that our contract requires we notify the company in at least 3-months in advance to end the lease. Regardless, we sent them a signed letter as requested. They acknowleged the letter and then sent us a form with our choices - Buy, Return or continued lease.
We chose to return the machine. In order to do that, you must pay $360 to end the lease and $400 for shipping costs. Mind you this copy machine retailed for $400 when it was new.
Throughout this ordeal, I've asked the company to show me where in the signed contract is the basis for this $360 fee? They have never answered this question. They only refer me to bills sent this year.
Having sent the letter and 36 month lease having finished, I assume I would no longer be charged. However, they continued their monthly $70.60 charges. I discovered them months later.
I contacted Wells Fargo and they are able to reverse 3-months of fees max. They reversed the charges without any dispute from Leaf. There were 1-2 charges I could not recover. The company continues to badger and threaten me.
You can read the same exact story from others. Even people that gave 3-months notice. Their game is getting those automatic fraudulent charges, as only 1-3 months can be reversed.

Wishing them a huge class action law suit.
