I had used LeadPower for leads for my business on and off for about 4 years. They have always been sluggish about contacting not only me, but many others on my team, who were interested in getting leads for their businesses. After about a year of not using their self serve leads division: Selfserveleads.com, I had forgotten my username and password to access my account. After trying every combination that I knew of, I was still unsuccessful and had to call Leadpower for my personal information (I still had money on my account to use for leads).
I then tried to call them, and received quite a few very professional sounding messages touting their exceptional customer service. After about 2 minutes of this, a girl got on the line, and I told her that I was looking for my user name and password. SIMPLE! RIGHT? - I guess not to them!
I was then transferred to some other woman who took my name and number, and told me that they would be calling me shortly.
The call never came. This was almost 4 weeks ago. I had called about 4 hours before the end of their working day, so I thought that I would try and call the next day since I hadn't received a call.
Now comes the aggravating part. I called them the next day about 4-1/2 hours before closing time. I had about 10 minutes of the same professional spiel, touting their exceptional customer service. During this call, I did not talk to anyone that was live. I then decided to hang up and call back. I know that they have caller I.D., because the receptionist took my number from the switchboard the day before. I had asked her about it, when she started reading my number back to me.
Well, when I called right back, I received the same girl, who transferred me to another woman, who transferred me to their answering service. By this point, I was greatly annoyed. ALL OF THIS AGGRAVATION OVER A USER NAME AND PASSWORD! UNBELIEVABLE!
I am presuming that from their lack of response and poor customer service, that the business is folding up their self serve lead division, and that they want to keep my money that is still left in the account that I cannot access. That is the only rational reason that I can think of for this atrocious example of unprofessional behavior.
If you want leads, I would suggest that you keep your money, and find another lead company.
