I ordered a free sample of Vitamin C Topical cream from Le Parise.
No where on the form did it say anything about the trial not being free. The add did say it was an automatic program where they billed your card every month for another shipment after 60 days and it stated you had 60 days to try the product out and could cancel at anytime.
I ordered the product on 5/31/15 and my credit card was propmtly charged ($4.95 for 'shipping'). The product was not delovered for over 3 weeks, and I was wondering if it ever would come.
I was in the process of trying the product out, when on 7/19/15 I noticed an $85 charge to my credit card. I had not received any additional product.
I called customer service and there they explained that since i did not cancel my order 15 days from the original date (!), then I was automatically charged for the product. Nowhere in the documentation was this ever explained - in fact, I had not even received the product within 15 days.
The customer service agent indicated that if I returned the product within 15 days, then the $85 credit would be applied to my card witin 2 weeks.
I complied with the instructions, yet no credit was forthcoming. Since that time, I have contacted the customer service center on 8/18, 9/19, 10/14, 10/21 and 11/12. Each time, I requested to talk with a manager. Each time I was told the manager was busy and would call me back. Guess what! Never happened.
On this last occasion, I requested the official name, address and name of the CEO. The customer service person told me that it was company policy not to divulge the CEO's name.
I have spoken with the following customer service people (if on can believe these are real names) Lynn, Cerese, Haley.
