I came to lemodelyn thinking that this was a reputable agency. However, while working for her, Linda Weaver, I discovered a sleazy scam artist. Linda, came to a casting call for a movie being filmed in NE Ohio. I was in line watching her go from person to person as she tried to get people to sign up with her agency and put HER agency down on the audition application so if casted their paycheck goes directly to her. ( It should be noted that if a talent is represented by an agency, which also means the one who got you that job by sending you to the casting, they take up to a 33% off the top then send a check to the talent for the rest. ) I did not put her down as my agent however I did go to see her out of curiosity. Linda offered me a job and I accepted. I worked for her untill I discovered too many imoral and questionable actions by Linda Weaver and her business Lemodelyn. Linda requires her clients to sign a contract that traps people into a 2 yrs, monthly payments of 24-32 a month. For others that signed Linda down as Agent they came by the office for months looking for their paycheck.
When I left Linda she owed me over 800. When I left, I left in fear because of her violent outbursts. She threw things, phones, chairs etc and I put up with it longer than I should have. Scam example #1 ... A "new talent" would come in and she would ask for the person to show their talent, walking for the runway, reading a script etc by this time she can figure out what makes you tick.Maybe it's a soap opera you want to be on. She will make a " fake" phone call in front of you pretending like she is talking to the casting director of that show.Telling them of your fantastic talent and that she is committed to make you a star. Linda convinces the new talent they can't get cast without pictures, and the contract and auditioning video. All costing this poor unsuspecting victim a ton of money and heartbreak. (I watched an office worker answer Linda's phone calls, then just set the phone down while she did other things, always in earshot of Linda's scam just Incase the new talent or someone's parent wants to talk to the other person on the line.) I've watched this go on up to 6 x a day Scam#2..... Photo sessions, over priced money making sceme especially for children. Scam#3..... Beware, especially those with children!! They are sent alone in the back room with a man or sometimes woman running a camera. Linda will go to local malls and approach young girls and parents with young children. Scam #1 repeats I've seen some inappropriate photos working there, but it wasn't till Linda told me the age of the girl in the photo , 8 yrs old that put a lump in my throat. That was my first and last glimpse of the child porn she peddles to her clients. Which are many low budget film makers. I ran out of her office after she threatened me. I couldn't believe when I saw she was still in business after so many people know the same information I do.
