On the reservation request e-mail sent to me on 1/16/2018

shows Total trip cost $526.43, which matched with the price I agreed at the time of booking. According to the same e-mail,

"Please note that reservation requests are only confirmed once the airline has issued a ticket number. A second and final email with ticket numbers will be sent to your email address within 24 hours (up to 72 on the weekends) indicating that a ticket has been issued. ". I have not received any e-mail after that, but few days later I noticed a credit card charge with the amount of $599.54. I called LBF Travel and they informed me that I have the ticket for this higher price. They refused to give me refund/discount to match the price that I agreed to. Be careful!

0n 6/21/17 my family needed airfair to Mexioco for a family trip. Our previous arrangements were not working out. we found LBF Travel on the internet and booked. We got to the airport and checked in at the kiosk with our pass ports which cleared but we could not get our boarding passes. We went to the front desk and while the clerk informed us that our name was in the system, the tickets had not been paid for (we paid for the tickets with our cc on ine). The front desk clerk kept checking for payment and it still had not appeared. about an hour befor the flight was to take off, the clerk advised us to purchase the tickets from American Airlines and we also had to pay a $45.00 Penalty for each ticket for purchasing them at the front desk. I have been going back and forth with this dispute. LBF Travel has not shown any proof that their tickets were used, but I have given proof of the tickets I purchased from The American Airlines Counter. My Next stop is the BBB to report these crooks!!!

Last year, I purchased a round trip ticket from Tucson to England directly from American Airlines. I then received several voicemail messages from the "help desk" of LBF Travel Inc. letting me know that my itinerary had been changed and that the trip would cost more. This company was unknown to me and I eventually learned that I had two one way tickets to England and no ticket to return. They also withdrew money from my bank account on two occasions even though I never solicided any services from them. Eventually I was able to obtain my return ticket from American Airlines/British Airways, since I had originally paid for it, to come back to Tucson. However, I still have not yet been reimbursed for the funds that LBF Travel unknowingly took from my bank account. I have made multiple attempts to get back my money from them without success. I am getting the run around.

Booked trip May 3, 2016, to Madrid, Spain. Credit card charged and confirmation email received. The nightmare began when upon arrival at ticket counter was told ticket never was paid. Sent to another airline counter and sent back to Amerucan. So much has transpired, but the gist is that I missed my trip, which was planned to meet my daughter studying abroad , due to LBD not responding TWICE to American Airlines' request to send ticket numbers. Spent the next four hours on the phone with LBD who offered me next day tickets at an additional cost of $280/pp. I declined as I balready paid $2576-ish. Drove back home 2.5 hours. Was promised a call would be received following day and again offered the more expensive fare and a promise to book early enough to catch that flight if we chose. No call. Contacted them again and spent literally until 7:00pm trying to get compensation and a refund for fare, expenses incurred of nearly $1000 (gas, money exchsnge fee, rebooking daughter in Spain flight home, airport parking, toll road fee, dinner, non refundable hotel in Spain, clothing for trip, nails done, luggage purchased, interest on credit card for 50+ days, work missed/vacation time, etc.) I was offered the more expensive flight and $100 on a future flight for both of us, $50 on future flight, and again $100. Seriously... I was lied to NUMEROUS times regarding fault.

American provided a printout documenting requests for ticket numbers and indicating reservation would be canceled if not received. I used this info to dispute their attempts to lie. They Blamed American, my credit card being declined (and yet we were charged), timing. The reps were all apologetic and kind...I will give them that. This company is headquartered in CA but service located in India. Accents make reps difficult to understand. It is funny they have all been assigned/chose American names.

As of this writing, I have been promised yet again a call from another supervisor.--Scott or Hugh who I spoke with several times. We will see. They really tried to get me to accept flights three times, I assume to simply allow this mess to go away. They owe me my money, my expenses, and I feel two round trip tickets to anywhere. We now have a young daughter in Spain without her classmates who have left, which is the worst part, no trip, $1000 poorer. I am livid and sad...with two girls having their plans ruined as well. I will await a call from Scott.

In May of 2016, I was planning a trip for me and my adult children, to Ireland, for a depature date in October 2016. I do not travel much, hardly at all, so I was utilizing various websites...Kyak,Priceline, etc.,.... Up pops this window for The Travel Help Desk. Promised tickets at a very reasonable price. I called the number and spoke with an agent that was VERY difficult to understand. He had a really thick accent. I told him the tickets and price I was interested in and he walked me through buying them.

About 2 weeks later,my daughter was having scheduling issues and wanted me to call about cancelling her ticket. I was told the fee for cancellation was 175.00, a little high, but as I said, I do not travel much so I figured ,it was normal or was probably something I should have checked into before. I told my daughter and she said to hold off and she would try to work out her schedule, we still had 4 months before our departure date.

Forward June 2016, 3 months to departure. My daughter finally gave up trying to get a coworker to cover and asked me to cancel her ticket. We assumed it would be 175.00, and she was willing to pay it. I called to cancel and was told it was 500.00! I asked why and was told it was not LBF,but it was the airline enforcing the fee. We were booked on 2 airlines. I hung up and called both and gave them the resevation and asked what my options were as far as cancelllation. I was told by BOTH companies, that since my departure was so far away that I could cancel and there was no fee,BUT my cancellation had to go through the company I purchased the ticket from. I informed them, that the company i bought the tickets from was claiming the airlines were enforcing a 500.00 fee on a 639.00 ticket anfd i felt that was excessive and wasnted to know why they would do that when they still had 3 months to resell the seats. That is when they made it VERY clear to me,that they were not the ones enforcing that fee.

I called LBF back and told them what i was told and the man told me,I dont know who ever told you 175.00 ,cause your tickets are non-refundable.!!!!!!

Really!!?? now,they are non-refundable??

In short now i have a ticket that probably wont be used, but i will be damned if i will cancel it so these bottom feeders can resell it and make even more money!

I have saved all communication and kept a record of ALL phone calls and the things said/promised. I have informed LBF that I am taking all of it to my District Attorney a consumor investigation can be started.

I want a FULL refund for all the tickets I purchased.

My advice,if that window pops up,close it!

I was told if you cant buy them on line, you have to call, that is a HUGE red flag.

Live and learn.
