wonderful service

I found a lawn mowing service that is absolutely amazing. Their work ethic, honesty and politeness couldn't be better. The price for the work is better than perfect! Most services are a little outrageous these days,but not this one. They really make their customers very happy.

The website is extremely user friendly. I was blown away by how afforadable the service is! Before I found lawnmowingonline.com, I was paying more for work that wasn't done as well. I am so glad I found this service! I will continue to use it again and again!

You'll be disappointed and won't get your money back

Don't use this service if you need a guarantee of someone mowing your lawn, because you will be disappointed. Then, you pay someone local to do the job, guess what? You cancel your online order right? Well, you will be charged $15 for cancelling. So basically you get screwed and only get half of your money back. You just paid this company for a job they never did. My suggestion is to just find a local person or company and use them instead, save the trouble and headache.

LawnMowingOnline.com = Proficiency

After placing my lawn mowing order I wasn't sure what to expect from this website I'd heard of, but I was blown away! I have just over an acre of grass in my yard, and mowing it is not something I look forward to at all, therefore I usually let the experts handle such a daunting task. LawnMowingOnline.com was proficient and it was so simple to place my order online. I got home from work one afternoon and saw that they had been there did such a wonderful job on my lawn, they've created a customer for life! Had a few good encounters with this lawn mowing company before the last terrible encounter. Scheduled a mow a week in advance and the job was accepted by a contractor (and lawn mowing online charged the fee immediately on scheduling). The contractor never showed up, nor responded to messages. Sent a request to lawn mowing online to cancel, and they responded by rescheduling the appointment to the next day.

I sent another two requests that the job be canceled that were not acknowledged. The mower showed up and I stopped him from mowing. He said LMO had been having contractor problems and he wasn't surprised at my experience. LMO only replied once I posted a negative review--they are obviously watching for these more than they are monitoring their own emails.

Their website is confusing with poor instructions on canceling--good luck if you can figure that out. I still have not received a refund and at this point I don't really expect to. I'll just consider it $30 spent on a lesson that I should use local contractors I can communicate with easily.

I contacted the company on Sunday after seeing the ad for $19 mow and next day service. I had not heard from them on Monday afternoon yet and sent them an email to check on things.

I was informed I needed to add more of a tip on. I explained to them the $19 dollar mow was already at $27 and I had already also placed a $5 tip on the order. I explained in the email that I do not tip in order to get someone to come do the work but am a generous tipper for those who do a good job.

I did not get a response from them again until Wednesday afternoon after I sent yet another email. The response I got from them again stated to add more of a tip. I sent them an email back and explained the same thing I had in the last email and also that I had waited more than the 48 hours required before being allowed to cancel an order.

At that point I just wanted to cancel the order as I had already contacted someone I knew who would do it for less. The emails I got in return to that were VERY unprofessional. They wanted to know who I had contacted to do the yard. I explained to them that it was not their concern and I was just asking for my refund. I also stated that good customer service would not be to argue with the customer just give them what they are asking and take that information to fix a problem they were having.

The response I got was that the only way I could be getting it any cheaper was to hire slave labor at $4 an hour. I repsonded stating that I was not hiring slave labor I was hiring someone I knew who was doing it to help support his family. I also informed them that due to the arguement and them being so unprofessional I would make sure that others were aware of it by leaving reviews.

I did get my refund at that point and on the paypal refund they stated that they would not support hiring $4 slave labor. I responded back to them again that it was completely unprofessional.

The response I got at that time stated that I was stealing money from hard working people and that if I left any bad reviews for them I was a b***h.

The person that came and mowed my lawn stated he had several customers who had used them in the past and had never been able to get the lawn cut for under $45. The company is a rip-off and I do not recommend anyone working with them.

I prepaid for lawn mowing services and I was in contact with the lawn mowing company about other services they may offer. They stopped responding to my requests, never completed the service I paid for, and the online service refused my refund request.

Love this service!

I was very impressed with the work that was done to my lawn. Very professional and my lawn was taken care of in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this company for your lawn services!

They literally stole my money....

I hired them for a mowing because my mower had broken on me. I ended up fixing it within a couple of hours and went to cancel the order. First off, their website is horrible and poorly designed. Second, there are no options to easily cancel an order. When you finally, by some miracle, find the cancel order or file dispute page, when you click on either option - it takes you to the home page!!!! So i emailed their support email, and got a response basically threatening me. They said they would send me to collections and I'd have to pay attorney fees, over their outrageous $15 fee that they steal from their customers who happen to need to cancel an order. If you place an order and need to cancel, they steal $15 from you, you heard that right! They are thieves. Paypal did not refund us, and they kept our $32 total order cost. No refunds, no email replies, nothing. They are con artists.

Tip for consumers: If you order (DON'T DO IT), and you have the need to cancel the order, make sure you change the mowing date first, to like a month later. Then cancel it AFTER 3 full days. Then you (allegedly) won't have $15 stolen from you. At least this is what their terms and conditions says. They are idiots, stay far far away!!

Okay this is kind of hard to explain so I will do my best. I was a contractor that took orders placed by individuals needing their lawn mowed on lawnmowingonline. I took a certain order that ruined everything good about the service. How it works is contractors get paid 3 days after each order is confirmed complete. If there is an issue with the order the contractor must resolve the issue with the customer before pay is released.

Anyway I took an order and shortly after I recieved a message from the customer saying that he had been trying to cancel the order because the last contractor never showed or something. I explained to him to contact the support and he said he had been. So i contacted support for him and I get a reply saying I must resolve the issue with the customer before any pay is released and I was owed $350.00. So I pleaded with the customer and he stood firm on his cancellation, and if a customer wants to cancel there is no convincing him.

So e mail after e mail to support or James Houston I tried to explain that it was not my fault the customer wanted to cancel. He kept saying resolve the issue with the customer, try harder or some other try hard lecture. I truly feel I have been ripped off for $350.00 and it is not cool. I finally gave up and joined lawnlove.com. Since then lawnmowingonline changed the whole platform of the website.

I am not alone in this neither, there are numerous people out there who had similiar results. Please help any way you can. I feel as if lawnmowingonline.com should be shut down.
