Attorney Thompson Gould Page and Attorney Richard Bruce Rosenthal met with me to discuss filing a lawsuit. They demanded a $25,000 retainer which was to be followed by a formal retainer agreement. After receiving and cashing a check for $25,000 Attorney Page proceeded to divy the amount to himself and his two pals Rosenthal and another attorney who did the proper thing and returned his one third take. Attorney Thompson Page and Attorney Richard Bruce Rosenthal shared the remainder of the fee ($16,666.00). After numerous phone calls, letters and a grievance they returned another $8,333.00 and each of them blames the other for the remainder of this stolen retainer.
Attorney Page even successfully deceived the grievance committee saying that he sent the money to his pal Rosenthal and he is sick! Page never had the right to distribute any money to his pal Richard Bruce Rosenthal because he never bothered to get a retainer agreement. He did however show up at our business demanding that we sign over our corporation (directorship) to him and to Rosenthal "so he could better represent us". i of course refused as he would have full access to bank accounts and all assets and wouldn't need a retainer as they would own everything. These two hold themselves out as caring individuals but they cannot be trusted. Page claims that Rosenthal had to be hospitalized but that was well after they had ripped us off and refused to return the balance of our retainer ($8,333.00) for which they have done absolutely nothing!
