Got an email alert Saturday that my bank acount had been drained of all funds. Had to wait until Monday to contact Sheriff and bank which eats days of the 10 day window to file an exemption. Dirty move. I have no knowledge of this debt that the firm purchased from another creditor. I would disput if it was originally mine in the first place. But, I was never served any legal paperwork, or notice of the suit, nor was I notified of any levies that have recently been awarded in their favor, on false info I may add. I have been homeless for the last 6 years, and Harris and Zide just took all the funds I needed to pay what amounts to my second month off the streets. The funds taken were earmaked for the nescessities of my just repaired life. Now, I find I may be back on the street in under a month. I'll repeat... I was never served any kind of paperwork from them. Never having been served I never had my day in court. In my absence they abtaianed this easy and fraudelent judgement, which they have now used to spirit away the entirerty of my meger monies at the end of business on a Saturday night. I am 4 days away from not paying my second months rent. I also have not eaten since this. No funds equals no food.
Around 2004 I seperated from my husband and lost my job all within a few months ! I had 2 small children ! I was devastated :-( My mother wrote me a check for $1500 to help me move away from my husband! I do not recall if his name was on my account at my bank or not but he must have used my card ( washintong mutual) and overdrew my account ! I disputed the charges with the bank at the time it happened to no avail ! I moved out and had to literally start all over :-(. I got a new job and moved my kids out of an abusive situation ! I got my credit back all by myself ! It took me over 10 years but you cannot imagine how happy and proud I was of this accomplishment ! These lawyers apparently bought my dept ( it was orinally about $1000) from a bank that no longer even exists ! They harassed me day and night at my work ( inner answer because their number comes up as a scam artist under my hiya phone app) They harrass my place of work and attempted to get the last 4 numbers of my ssn! They did mail me something from a court ! I was happy and thought I could go to court to fight this ! There was no seal on the document and not even a court date ! It says memorandum of costs after judgement and declaration of accrued interest! I tried to look for any information at the superior court and saw nothing ! I work full time and cannot take time off to research if this is legal what they are doing to me ! They finally did accomplish their " job" and started the process of garnishing my wages ( 25 % a paycheck ) and of course that bill from 2004 has swelled to over 5k) Now I am forced to start al over and file bankruptcy ! I am devastated and cannot believe I worked so hard and hard to start all over ! It looks like they do this to a lot of people ! I cannot stop crying :-(
