I hired mr mierswa as my attorney in 2014. He was doing such a poor job on our case i terminated his services in january of 2016.
Mr mierswa refuses to give my file to me. The case was set up on a contingent basis but he actually sent me an email demanding ($489.02) money for the file.
I referred mr mierswa to the il rules of professional conduct, where it says he cannot hold my file.
Mr mierswa still has my file and won't give it back.
Since then mr mierswa has acted extremely unprofessional. Mr mierswa was so hostile at our last meeting i was afraid for my safety. I had to leave immediately.
