I bought a blue tri english bulldog from Laurel, she included a 1 year health guarentee which includes congenital and life threatning issues. Every since i picked up my puppy, we have had health issues which has been recorded by my vet. My puppy has been blacking out every since i purchased him, i have took him to 2 vets, both say he has a severe elongated pallet that neither vet will operate on because of the serverity, one vet being very well known english bulldog vet. Both vets say there is a 50/50 chance he will die on operating table, so i was refered to OSU vet school in Stillwater, my appmnt is not until July 29th, if he lives that long. Both vets also say it is congenital and life threatning. The poor puppy cant get go outside for any amount of time before he blacks out and falls over. The first time I called Laurel to tell her the problem, she was rude to me and said....oh just get it fixed, breeder do it all the time. After that she will not return my calls Laurel told me she asked her vet about it and he said that it wasnt a big deal, so she knew abt this problem and sold him to me anyway. First of all, i paid 6500$ for this puppy. I have been a reputable breeder of bulldogs for 15 years and i have honored my guarentee for small things that wasnt even guarenteed just because i dont want a bad name and want repeat customers. Also my puppy had scabies which i havent mentioned to Laurel yet, that wasnt a huge issue for me, my vet treated it. It had scabies when i brought it home, i have pics from the day before i picked him up from Laurel that shows the bumps on his head. It did cost me because it gave my other dogs scabies and had to treat them also. Im sure Laurel has nice dogs and people are happy with what they purchased from her, and thats great but im unhappy with my puppies life threatning and possible fatal condition. I have had to start paperwork for civil lawsuit, which i am filing July 14th. I will get back on here and let everyone know how it goes
