Lauderdale BMW of Pembroke Pines Reviews
So the nightmare started about two months ago when there was heavy rain and my BMW 640 grand coupe 2015 got stuck in about 8 inches of water. It turns out the engine intake took in some water and one of the rods bent resulting in s total loss on the engine $20,000 To fix. I a claim through Geico I also have to pay my deductible and an additional betterment fee about $1300 to repair my car. Ultimate driving machine ? I think not.
After nearly a month and a half I thought I got the call that my car is ready I go to pick it up after about five minutes of driving I noticed that there is a very severe knocking sound in the front axle I took the car back the next day and they told me that it was a stripped bolt in my front axle I don't know much about cars but that sounds pretty dangerous to me.
I picked up the car again and after driving off the knocking sound was gone but there was severe vibration coming up through the engine and I could feel it in the steering wheel. Not what I expect for A car that cost almost 90 k.
I have called corporate BMW USA numerous times to complain they listen but they take no action I spoke to everybody I could at the BMW dealership in Pines and the only concession they made for me was it took $500 off the engine repair price. I have been in different loaners and rentals for two months and at this point I asked BMW about working with me to get into a new car and nothing. My 640 is still at service and they take no initiative to call me or update me. Shame on you BMW not what u expect from a high end car maker. I called my Geicko agent to let him know that I still didn't have the car and he was shocked. He then told me that the first engine that was sent out to replace mine was defective and sent back. I had no clue of this and no wonder it took so long to repair what should have taken 2 weeks max. I feel if the dealer covered that up what else are they lying about?
So after I post this I get a generic response from the marketing manager ? I have expressed my disgust with this horrible service on my blog HERE , on Yelp HERE and I will post until this is resolved and let the world know how BMW treats its clients, How about a phone call or even better yet I really would like either my car repaired correctly or if you can't fix it work with me to get into another car. Shame on You BMW and BMW Pines for the horrible service. You should stand by your product and when a client spends 90k on a car they SHOULD expect excellence and get it both in the product and service.BMW Pines and BMW USA have fallen miserably short.I can't even get a call back from these guys . Its now 2 Months and I am waiting to get a resolution to this. Why can't they admit they can't fix the car correctly and send it to someone that can or put me into another car without penalizing me I have suffered enough! As a company BMW strives for excellence do you not? I hope they step up to the plate and make this right I am tired of driving thier loaner while I pay for MY Car!
