Hi, My name is Barry and my very large family and friends in Ventura County have been Shopping at Lassens for thirty years. Over the last decade we have all tried to get messages to the owners thru their employees regarding quality of products. Since they haven't made the appropriate changes, many of us are going to Whole Foods where they have similar problems but are friendlier and are willing to take educated advice about products. Not just food, but also in their health department. We want to be able to shop at Lassens, but they are not listening to their customers.
Many people have suggested that they bring on a Naturopathic doctor to consult in their health department. In ten years, they continue to Not care that they are harming the health of their customers with mostly Synthetic Vitamins and supplements. We've requested Organic for over a decade and not much has changed. Just like other health food stores that provide Unhealthy products, nothing has happened or changed. There is an organic revolution going on worldwide and as a result people are educating themselves.
Educated people refuse to use anything but All Organics, food, supplements etc... We demand better prices or people are shopping elsewhere. They have Not educated themselves at all. We want our foods to come from the least polluted states in the US. If they were in contact with The Environmental Working Group, they'd know what's in their water and the states that they're buying food from. Ventura county citizens belong to large organizations that are communicating their concerns thru educational seminars and want Lassens and other groceries to take responsibility for were they're getting their products and guarantee their safety.
We're done trying to beg them. They have low wage employees in their health department and were feed up. They also give very bad advice to unknowing customers who are trying to count on them. They make a fortune, and even tho they try, they're still part of the problem, Not the solution to good health. Thousands of people would like to continue to shop at their stores, but we demand change.
