Las Vegas Athletic Clubs Reviews

Unfortunately the last 6 months of my life have been chaotic. I tore my rotator cuff and lost my job than my job, which put myself, my 5 year old and three year old homeless. All the while load still managed to collect monthly dues of $31.00 every month after the end of my contract. For months!

2 weeks ago I left Las Vegas to stay in AZ with relative's so my kids would not be homeless. And my bank said I was in over draft. Never has this happened. This is when I noticed LVAC had been still collecting from me for services that were canceled !

I have requested a stop be put to this and a refund for all unlawfully collected funds. I finally righted my bank. But my balance is literally $5.00. I am two weeks from a homeless situation with 2 small kids and still no job, being new to an area. This is not okay. They are breaking me finacially! THIS IS FRAUD.

I reluctantly re registered with LVAC after a horrific 1st experience. My first experience wa, I requested a temporary membership due to the fact I lived 3000 miles away. They said of course, no problem.... they then turned it over to collection I I paid them 250 dollars after paying an exorbitant short term rate to keep them out of my credit report. Then 4 years later, they said I couldn't get a new membership due to unsettled previous transaction... Then the manager, a sly nice man used my buddy as primary. I again said I will be moving OUT OF THE COUNTRY and this needs to be short term only. Again, no problem.... I explained I work OUT of the country and will not have a correspondence address... no problem. When it came down to, just pay 50 ea to cancel anytime, they said they needed proof of my new address. These people have 1000's of very upset clients. They are overcrowded. They do not follow their own rules, cell phones, strippers, clothing, permiscuity, etc... I find out today again, after paying them on average 100 a month, they filed that I, not me and my friend, but I owe them 644 dollars. That would have been a 3 year!!!!! contract, not a short term. Someone needs to shut these crooks down! I will help!

My husband and I bought two memberships for the Lvac in 2015. We signed up for automatic payments on two separate accounts. Lvac does not charge the accounts at the same time each month, which results in the account being charged in the beginning of the month, the end, or even multiple times in the same month. If there's any issue with the payments they charge a late fee, regardless of when you pay it. A few times they claimed that there were insufficient funds and charged the account a fee for that, around $25 per account, even though there were sufficient funds. When the bank was called and asked if there was a charge applied to the account at the time of "insufficient funds" they had no record of said charges. One month they charged the account three times, including late fees. When Lvac was called about these incidents they (after much haggling and speaking to managers) were able to void 3 charges, but for all the other charges they said "there are too many voids on the account" so there was nothing they could supposedly do. There were only 2 emails in the span of a year emails saying that we were late paying, or the payment bounced back, even though they send other emails confirming our payments. The rest of the times we received no emails. Recently, on the last month of our membership we called to pay over the phone and tell them we did not want to renew our membership. Lvac said that we would be paying late fees for this month. There was no charges on either of our accounts, I checked our balances as we were on the phone with them. We told them that there were no charges on our account from them, or any messages from the bank or the Lvac saying the payment did not go through. They again said that they couldn't waive any more fees because they have waived to many already. We asked to speak to a manager, but only got number to call back later. In total we were charged over $250 in fees for Lvac's incompetent billing and dishonest practices in the span of 2 years, on top of the $1100 we were initially paying for out membership.
