Las Palmas Travel Network Reviews

I attended a time share presentation at teh Pas Palmas resort while in Playa del Coco, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. I did not purchase a time share, but was offered a membership to ther exclusive travel exchange programme. I was also offfered a 1 week resort vacation and return flight for two to any destination which included their resort properties. I requested Tahiti and was shown a selection of resorts and was informed that my flights and resort would be guarnateed provided that I booked 6 months in advance. The price that I paid for the lifetime membership was $2,799.00 US, which was less than the flights and resort, so I agreed to the conditions.

However, when I went to book the vacation, neither the website, nor the 1800 number are functioning. I do have 2 numbers in Costa Rica, telephone (506) 2670-0357 and FAX (506) 2670-0336, but it is highly unlikely that either are working as it appears that this company has vanished, leaving only a bogus webiste on the net. The Agent who I purchased from is Brett Williams, a US citizen and at the time wasliving in Costa Rica.

If there is any way that you can be of assistance and investigate this fraudulent company so that I may recieve compensation from them, I would be very grateful.

My wife and I bought 5 weeks down there, what a waste of 10K

My wife and I bought 5 weeks down there and they had us pay for other things besides just the condo use. It turns out that two of the companies that we had to pay for went out of bussiness with in that year. Lost all that money ( 800 +) and they want us to join two others to use what we have paid for. One was Mercury property management for 799.00 lost it. The 2 sales people that sold this to us gave me their e-mail address. They and others have never got baack with us. DONT BUY

On June 3, 2014, my wife and I sat through a presentation to purchase into Las Palmas Travel Network Program while we were on our honey moon in Playa Del Coco, Costa Rica. We were promised:

-7 night Resort Getaaway

-Free Crused with purchase of one cruise

-Free Flight with purchase of one airfare

In addition, the program we were puchasing would allow us to reserve hotels, crusies, etc. for discounted rates. The cost was $1,999 which we used on credit card. The company was suppose to contact us back in 2 weeks to walk through our plan we purchased. They never did. However, I did get emails from "Las Palmas Travel" showing us deals we could purchase. We did not have vacation planned for that year so we did not use it. In May 2015, I tried making contact via phone and email not having any luck. I wanted to ask some questions about a upcoming trip we were planning and I was going to ask about the yearly $199 membership due. After several attempts I could not get a response to the contact numbers that the hotline was giving me. Everything was disconnected and my emails were not going through and coming back to me. Yes I am a d**n idiot for falling for this and they did an excellent job by giving us a free breakfast on the beach and smooth talking us into this.
