Fred Eanes purchased his property in 1993. I purchased my property in 1995. I came here to Trinidad to see my property in July 1995 when Fred and I got into a arguement over property markers. He talked down to me like making the statement BY THE LOOKS OF YOUR ATTIRE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY FOR A LAWYER. This was the beginning of a long nightmare. Also in July 1995 Fred was upset at my surveyor and tried to sue him through the local attorney. Anyway I ended up hiring Peterson surveying out of LaJunta Co. He just surveyed the perimiter because it would of cost so much more to survey the road. In February 1996 I hired Albert Martinez to build my fence. Fred Eanes was highly upset. He wanted just a cattle guard between our places and thought I would pay for half. I said no I am fencing. NOT INTERESTED. In october 2000 I started building ordered a manufactured home and my family started living here. The lot next to mine (I am lot number 17) Lot number 18, Fred Eanes got the neighbor worried that I stole some of his land so he had Gary Terry local surveyor Trinidad Colorado do the surveying. Everything was fine so the man in lot 18 became my friend. I even had a letter from the state of Colorado that said I can put up a good fence between my property and the state land. So I thought all this was over with!
Through the years Fred EAnes always called the sheriff department on me. Sometimes he had a good reason because of my son with severe autism but other times Fred did not have a good reason. In 2006 I tried to get a restraining order against Fred for making fun of my son with severe autism but Judge Bruce Billings refused.
Fred Eanes got into politics. I am not sure when but it sure gave him power. Approx in the year 2008 Fred Eanes tried to get the government to take my fence down but it was denied because my fence has been here too long.
September 10, 2017 I was walking on the county road when I seen Fred on his balcony of his house. I said do you know who put their lock on my gate and broke the cattle guard? He flew down stairs wanted to fight me. I told him how I cut the lock off my gate. He said that is his property. I said no it is my property. He was three inches from my face called me a stupid Fing B. I could feel his spitting on me. I pushed him and said get out of my face you arrogant F k**e. Freds wife Mary was out in the county road video taping on her cell phone. To make a long story short his wife and him called 911 lied to the sheriff department. NEVER SHOWED THE CELL PHONE VIDEO SHE TOOK OF THE ALTERCATION ON THE COUNTY ROAD. Fred told the sheriff department that was his property. OCTOBER 2017 I HIRED GARY TERRY SURVEYOR LOCALLY AND DISCOVERED IT IS MY LAND.
On November 3, 2017, I tried to hire a local company Majestic Fencing to move my fence up a few feet because Fred Eanes does not own it and I gave too much right away for my own confort. Fred abused the right by putting a lock on my gate and getting everyone involved. Well that back fired. November 6, 2017 Fred met Phil Anthony Dorekkamp to complain about my fence on his property but it is really my property. At 12:30 Phil Anothony Dorekkamp was here taking photos trying to talk to us in which we refuse. For two months straight Fred Eanes got every county man and sheriff out here complaining about my cameras. One of the worse was Luiz Lopez who tried to put fake charges on me fencing in county property for my own personal use. THIS WAS JUST SCARE TACTICS AND IT NEVER SUCEEDED.
On February 27, 2018 case number 2017M348 got dropped. Now it is the restraining order case 2017MC132. Fred paid a lawyer Les Downs plenty of money to keep this going. So now on April 6, 2018 I am forced to hear his wife Mary complain for hours.
