I am glad I took the 30 seconds to verify this was a scam. Received a very formal looking award letter. Except it did not contain a phone number or email to contact sender. Also, I am pretty sure I would not be this lucky. LOL. The letter stated to complete forms and send 12.99 aquisition fee by check, money order, cc, or cash. Thank you all who reported..
Didn't you think " Well what did I do to receive this..lol". I figured if it seems to good to be true it usually is... It is pretty convincing if you just look at a glance. When I actually looked and read I noticed a bunch of simple errors like, at the end of some lettering the words are cut off.. I mean if they going to just hand me 2 million dollars you think they can afford at least Microsoft Office...lol It would at least keep the whole word on the page..lol
First of all, I know for sure that if you win, you should not be asked to pay for anything. Scam scam ripoff scam. Folks like this will reap what they sow. How dare you, Larry Hourd, putting someone through this. You should be ashamed of yourself. Prayers going up for you, because you need it!
Same letter as everyone else. What a joke almost fell for it with the professional letter until my other half said her gut is telling her don't do it it's not real. Glad I listened to her.
I received the same letter everyone has described. I could win $1,327,940.00 in one single check or $2,000,000.00 30 Year Annuity ($66,666.66 per year for 30 years). I just need to send an "Acquisition Fee" of $11.89. Yeah Right.
Do these people have nothing better to do than waste our time. I'm sure they have some poor person who will use their last $12.00. I Think it is a shame that there are people out there like these scammers.
