My wife bought a floor model GE dishwasher and an extended warranty. It worked from ~10-17-19 until ~12-23-19. The dishwasher stopped working so I called Asurion.
Asurion scheduled Accord Appliance to repair. Accord rep came out five times each time he changed a circuit board and electrical cards. The last time he came out he said he didn't know what else to do as he had changed all the cards and boards. He said we was going to suggest to his manager to replace the entire unit and asked me to call the manager and ask him to replace it. I called the manager and he didn’t know anything about my problem and said he would call back once the repair persons reports were turned in. He never called back.
I called him back after a week and he gave me another number to call. I called the number and Asurion rep asked why I was using Accord, they are not our repair, they are our training department. They made arrangements for another company to come out and repair our dishwasher. The new repair person came out three times and said I have changed all the electrical cards and circuit boards and it wouldn't work. He said he was going to come back to my house with another set of replacement cards and boards and try again. I got mad and showed him the door. It is now September of 2020 and the dishwasher has not worked since 12-23-19.
This all took time because each time I had to prove that the 2016 dishwasher that home depot sold me as new in 2019 kept getting flagged because it was out of warranty coverage. I actually made ~20 calls to Asurion and one call to Home Depot and once Home Depot realized that I had an extended warranty they actually hung up on me.
