This happened in March of 2015. I called land crafters from a area circular that we get once a week called the Scene. Well Charlie came to the house I showed him what we wanted and in front of my wife he said," I can do the job for 4000.00" I thought that it was a bit pricy but my wife said yes to quickly. We talked about a doing the start of the work. I told him my wife and I were leaving town and he could start then. Well we came back and he was to have start the job a week after our return. But he was quick to call us the day we came back and said he did have an opening and that he could start that same week.
Well I said ok, I'll be around and he came that Tuesday and start working but Charlie said when we agreed to let him do the job was everything was included and to not give him or any company money until the job was finished. I should of remembered that. Until this day it bothers me. Well he was doing the job and cut down bushes that I had in the back and cleaned up some trees. Well when they started the front to do the sod and cut trees in the back he said I had to pay an additional 600.00 to do some tree cutting that we agreed was included. He said that it was not included but since I was in a pinch now I agreed. I must admit I should of told him and his crew to get off my property and just paid him 500 and get someone honest and fair. He was not.
So as that day ended he came to me and asked me for some money to pay the guys that day. Again I should of told him to take a walk. But my wife wanted it done and it was slowly coming to a close. Now all through the time he was working I was asking him to provide documentation of the insurance and lic. Which he never provided and I never got any paper work until the end of the job. I realize now I should of told him to leave and get another but I didn't and it's my fault. But I'll tell you one thing. If I ever run into him it will take a lot of will power to stop me from removing his head from his body. But I don't like jail and I am a law biding person so that makes him very safe. BUT I'LL TELL YOU DO NOT USE LANDCRAFTERS IN SPRING HILL FLORIDA ALSO COMPARE PRICES HE IS A RIPOFF. HE IS ALSO A RACIST BECAUSE I HEARD HIM MAKE A FEW COMENTS WHEN I WAS BY MY WINDOW AND HE THOUGHT I HAD LEFT. SO BEWEAR AND DON'T USE HIM.. IF ANY QUESTIONS LOOK ME UP AND I WILL GIVE YOU A WAY TO DEAL WITH HIM..
