If they didn't want the job, fine leave and allow me to find someone else. Don't lie to cover your tracks at my expense. Thankfully as fate would have it, the next real company that showed up agreed with me that the unit needed replaced. Right in front of me they called my warranty company and got approval for a brand new unit.
