It looks nice on the outside but their joke of self extermination doesn't get rid of all of the roaches, bed bugs, scorpions, and ants. It's a never ending revolving door of insects. My apartment was overrun with bedbugs coming out of the walls from other tenants. Management did nothing about it. My lease said it would be pest free but it was a lie.
The neighbors are loud and fight fought right outside of my window. Unattended children would run in front of vehicles and give the finger if I honked my horn. They also climbed up the outside of walls of my apartment to get to the balcony above, but they didn't live up there. Management did nothing about it. My lease said I would have quiet enjoyment but that was a lie.
When I moved in, I asked for them to not allow maintenance people in my apartment without my permission, but several times they came in anyway and said they could do whatever they wanted. They came in when I was in the shower. I felt very unsafe. I have a video of them in my living room going through my stuff. When I told the manager, he did nothing about it. I notified the police and they said the maintenance people would have to steal for it to be a crime. Again I was to have quiet enjoyment and 24 hours notice. A lie.
The pools have a serious wasp problem. Everyone who swims will get dive bombed by them and I was stung on my shoulder when I was floating in the pool. They do not clean the pool or remove pests. The hot tubs barely work and there is so much chlorine it burned my eyes. Amazing ammentities is a lie.
Dog poop is another problem. Tenants let their dogs poop wherever they want and maintenance refuses to clean it up. I have addressed all of the above problems with the manager AJ and showed him the video of the maintenance people going through my belongings and he didn't do anything. Unclean grounds and no personal safety goes against lease terms. Again, they lied.
Burglar alarm has basic passcode associated with apartment number so it's very easy to figure out. Everyone who works at the complex has access to it. If you request to have it changed, they won't help you with that, you are told to give them the new passcode. They did not provide me with a safe apartment. They lied about that in the lease.
I made a few maintenance requests but they were all ignored. The fireplace did not work but had a tag placed on it by the gas company that had a warning not to use it. The smell of gas was so strong it scared me to go near it. Maintenance came out, took some photos of it and left. It was never fixed. My A/C went down. Took a month to fix it in over 100 degree heat! Garbage disposal cracked. They never fixed it. They will come in without permission and look around and never return. The entire lease agreement was a lie.
Finally, when I moved out, I rented a steam cleaner to clean the carpet that is only in the bedroom. It didn't really need it but I did it to be niced. I barely used the apartment because I worked so much and was only there for a year. But I spent two days cleaning. Took photos to prove it. This place charged me several hundred dollars for cleaning and carpet cleaning. It's a scam. But they have already lost a lawsuit for the same thing and were ordered to pay millions of dollars to tenants in refunds. It's public record. So now I will look into opening another class action lawsuit against this property management company. I was ripped off with a bad lease and money to pay for cleaning that never happened.
