LAAM Partners Group Reviews

  • Nov 18, 2018

I worked for this company for several months in 2018. From my interview process on, everything about the leadership at LAAM Partners Group and their subsidaries (which are not really subsidaries. Go and visist their office, it's all the same place just different websites to trick you into their Multi Level Marketing business strategies) made me uncomfertable and felt wildly inappopriate. Just some examples:

Owner/CEO David Ellis would constantly have closed door conversations with me during business hours. During these conversations he would address his religion, my religion, the infedelity he had commited with his wife, the infidelity she committed with him, her many "mental stuggles" (which are his words not mine), and the infrequency in which they have intercourse with one another.

During a live group training course, at their headquarter location, a visiting instructor, in the presence of the CEO David Ellis, told me in front of the whole class that "even though I am very beautiful" he woulnd't "have sex with me."

CEO David Ellis instructed the Marketing Director to remove a photograph of two men and their child that was on the company website under family life insurance. David had already viewed the website in working condition several times and never paid attention that there were "two gay men" and that "they dont sell to those kind of people." Additonally, employees on the team were making comments about those "fags" that were on the website now.

When the company hired someone to come out and clean the air conditioning filters, the man that came in to do the cleaning asked me in front of the rest of the workforce that I looked good and asked if I wanted to join him up on the roof. Immediately after I confronted the Operations Director Leticia Santiago and filed a formal complaint and she completely brushed it off and refused to take it seriously.

The company stole a majority of the ideas that I implemented into their WEFI (Women Empowering Financial Independence), fired me without warning or cause, and then used all the ideas I had submitted.

When LAAM Partners Group server files were hijacked by hackers overseas, they were demanded to pay a ransom via bitcoin in order to regain access to their server files. David Ellis, in front of the entire staff, asked an employee, Dennis Fontaine, if he could use his credit card to pay the ransom.

David Ellis has requested managers in the company to go without pay while he paid the rest of the workforce so that their workforce wouldn't know how bad their finacial situation is.

Lastly, and most importantly, the entirety of this business operates under fraud. In 2018 a National Insurance Crime Bueraue claim was filed against David Ellis for operating an insurance marketing and writing company and having hundreds of agents around the united states writing policies under HIS WIFES INSURANCE LICENSE, as he does not have one of his own. He claims publicly that his wife, Nancy Ellis, is involved in the company however she has never worked a day in the office, has nothing to do with the operations of the company, and stays home daily with their 7 children. In fact, the only time I ever saw her come into the office was to collect money from her husband, David. When this was brought to David's attention, and he was point blank asked how he can write fraudulent policies his response was that "no one will ever know because she is the owner of the company on paper." In fact, I witnessed him debating with the Marketing Director several times when the Marketing Director expressed his concerns over having Nancy on the website and presenting her as a member of the team and David said it wasn't up to him and to do what he says.

They are implementing a new program in 2019 called WEfi (Women Empowering Financial Indpendence) that they are positioning as a way to empower women. In fact, all this is is a multi level marketing platform being fraudulently represented by none other than David's wife Nancy. They invite women to seminars that are supposed to be about growth, but all it is is getting them to spend money to become insurance writers for LAAM Partners Group to write policies under Nancy's name.

This company, known originally as Lead Masters, then Life & Annuity Masters, then LAAM Partners Group (also operating sub divisions called Wefi and Highpoint) is run and operated by David Ellis. There are approx 15 employees in house but there are hundreds of insurance agents around the United States writing polices under them. That being said, the entire company operates and writes policies under David's wife, Nancy Ellis, and her insurance ID. Nancy has never worked a day in the office they currently occupy and have occupied now for almost five years. They pretend she is a part of the company but she is no way shape or form part of the company and their current operations.

A claim has been filed with the National Insurance Crime Bureau to reprot this fraud but they continue to operate their business as if nothing has happened. IF YOU ARE WRITTEN A POLICY FROM ANYONE OPERATING UNDER THIS COMPANIES FRAUDULENT USE OF NANCY ELLIS' INSURANCE LICENSE, your are participating in their fraud and eventually your policy WILL be cancelled. Several customers, employees, affiliates and outside agencies have challenged David on this fraudulent representation and he shuns it off as if it will never have a penalty on him. Selling insurance under another person license is illegal. Every day this company operates an ILLEGAL business
