Marc Tropeano is a Private investigator in California USA that is a con artist, a theif, and it seems he got his PI license out of the cerial box. This guy did two background checks for our group that I helped fund. I put in $100 donation, and this theif charged the organizer $700 for 2 background checks.
The first one was useless info that he gave our organizer that we already had. He gave us nothing but a person's birthday for $350 USD. The second payment was for another background check that he didn't even start on. He couldn't even FIND the guy! WE ended up finding him and getting all the info OURSELVES ! The organizer asked Marc Tropeano 4 times for a refund for this job he never completed. He has refused to reply, and refused to refund the $350 for the second background check.
This con artist is NO Private Investigator.... he is a THEIF. a LIAR. and he even gave away person financial info about the organizer and how much he spent to TOTAL STRANGERS that called him and asked !! THIS DIRTBAG actually violated his own PI license ethics, and that was after LYING to us and saying he would do his best to help us. He didn't do Anything to help!! help Stole our money and Ran !!
