I purchased a 2015 Dodge Dart from Kunes Country Auto Group in Macomb, IL on Feb 18, 2016. The business did not file the correct paperwork on the vehicle and my trade in vehicle. I never got a receipt for the purchase of this vehicle but they immediately cashed my check for the purchase. I contacted the Secretary of State to find out where my title was on the vehicle and was told that the dealership did not follow State laws regarding all paperwork needed to process the purchase of my vehicle. The dealership did not disclosed information to me regarding whether there were any issues associated with this vehicle. I was told by the dealership that they need to get paperwork from 2 other states in order to finalize the sale of this vehicle. By law the dealership should have had all the paperwork and made sure all information was disclosed to me prior to sale of the vehicle to me. The dealership does not know proper Illinois law or how to properly do their job when it comes to selling vehicles. Everyone at this dealership should be fired or the dealership should be forced to closed due to their unfair business practices which is a federal law that the dealership has violated.
