I contacted Jon from Kratos Business Solutions from a craigslist list in our ares, and he promptly called me which I thought was good service. The first talk on the phone went well and I was to have a new website designed in a week, and up and running on my host server I supplied him. Well it took over a month a month to have it designed and uploaded to my server. I used the website for 2 postings and it went down. After serveral call and emails JON would not answer the phone nor a email. Paid 600.00 for a website that has to be redone completely. I have notified the credit card company of this fraud servic, and am having a local web designer take care of needs.
I WOULD AVOID THE SERVICE KRATOS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PROVIDES, They are terrible at customer seervice and my website was up for about 30 days tops! Ask yourself where is this service being provided from, and can you find a web designer in a more local setting.
I contacted Kratos Business Solutions through a Craigslist ad. Jon "the owner" was very courteous during our beginning conversations. I was promised mock-up's of a website redesign within a few days. This quickly turned into over a week. I was patient as I know things happen. I am also an active duty veteran who is the sole provider for my family. Jon claimed he was also a veteran who had served.
I paid Jon and inital $600 upfront for the beginning stages of work. I saw one email with a picture of a mock up after a week. I replied I would like some changes, after this Jon fell out of contact. After multiple attempts and finally leaving a status on his Business facebook page he responded to me threatening to sue me for slander, and that he had been in the hospital.
Ok guy, I got it, you have no one to run your business while you were in the hospital, you can't make contacts or do an automated response to your email. Not exactly how I would run a business, but ok.
So I gave Jon anoter week and half before contacting him again asking him for a refund of money. He told me on our previous conversations that he would only refund half of the $600 and give the files that had been created. I was reluctant, and not crazy about since he never delivered on his world of giving a file or website that I hoped for. But sometimes you have to cut losses and realize that you made a mistake when you allow your emotions to make a decision...ie..He was Vet, I was Vet, I like to see my money go to another vet.
I should have known better when he never sent a contract, and his website was unfinished itself with original latin languge in certain tabs from where the template was loaded.
I would avoid this company at all cost. They do not follow through, will ignore you, delete your comments off his business facebook page. As a small business owner, a sole provider for a family, $600 is alot of money. I hope karma comes around to this cat.
