Normally not one to bash others' businesses but those considering a purchase should be informed that this company scammed me out of $1,895.00. I ordered a desk chair from them and despite having successfully received hundreds of packages without ever having a single problem at my address, Kinnls' logistics services said they were unable to deliver the package. Because I never received the package I asked for a refund on March 30th, 2023, and got confirmation from the logistics service that the product was returned to Kinnls successfully on April 10th, 2023. Despite many, many attempts by me to recover my refund, Kinnls has been barely responsive and has only attempted to extort me as of today, August 3rd, 2023. These are all true facts and are not intended to be made in a defamatory manner, but rather a precautionary one.
I purchased an Office Chair from this company online on December 24, 2022, after visiting their website, I thought this was a furniture store in La Mirada, CA, that you could actually could go to the physical store, and that I believed this was American Made website for furniture.
Shortly thereafter making the online purchase..... I received an email alert from my credit card company that $1395 was charged from an International Charge from Hong Kong.
I immediately did a Kinnls.com Review check on the Internet. Found a troubling review on another reliable website that was rated one star, saying what was said to them when they were having issues with Kinnls (dated September 23, 2022): “We're from kinnls furniture. We hope that you abide by our return policy, we have returned the money back to you and we hope you can return the chair and pay a half of shipping costs for return. If not, this will bring us huge losses. Because all of that ,we won't follow the formal process to solve your problem, and we both don't wanna that situation happen ,and you sir if keep being no credit ,and you will give us no option , so we may submit your phone number, email address and home address to the black website, and we will also publish your family information. Your family and your information will let everyone see that you are a hypocrite without credit. When your information is known by criminals, you will also face great danger. If you do not want this to happen, please contact us in time.”
To me that was like a threat to a customer of theirs (I also brought this up to Kinnls by phone---and they did not deny saying that and if that were not true---- I am sure they could have had it removed off that site).
I also began to see other red flags when looking at other questionable issues I had.
About one half hour after purchasing the chair I immediately asked to cancel my order by sending a couple of emails stating to cancel my order and left a phone message on their business phone listed.
Later the next day or so, I received a phone call from someone who told me that they would need to Charge a fee to canceling my order. We went back and forth in that phone call---and also many things I brought that I felt needed to be addressed.
Then the next day another person called me by the name of Jason, (Jason was always respectful and we talked with each other without any hostility.) After I pointed out one thing after another of inaccuracies of their company and website----Jason did agree to refund me but that they did have one in stock as my chair was never in stock in the first place, and wanting to get me to agree to a red chair, which I said I wanted the black chair that matched my furniture. The end result on that phone call was Jason agreed that I would be refunded fully.
But after that phone call---I received no confirmation email that said they would refund me. I then sent an email to them asking for that confirmation with negative results.
I then filed a Fraud Dispute with my credit card company which was actually the wrong dispute, it should have gone to the billing dispute.
As of today, all it would take is for Kinnls to refund my 1395.00 with my credit card company and this would all be resolved. I had received a phone call yesterday from Jason of Kinnls, he asked me to be patient and he would call me today and resolve this and I would be refunded. I never received a phone call today. My credit card still shows a charge of 1395.00 for nothing--as it was a canceled transaction. This has been going on for over a month now.
What is so frustrating is I have literally jumped through so many hoops with this company, and still - no refund. If there is any resolve from this I will update this review.
