Kimra Luna calls herself a branding expert, yet her only experience in "branding" is copying other people's material and dying her hair blue.
Kimra has said numerous times in her Freedom Hacker community as well as her "signature course" Be True, Brand You that she never made more than a few hundred dollars a month in network marketing. So the videos, interviews, and "success story" was all a fake just to get more people to join her team. That, in and of itself is a shame. I met Kimra because I was interested in Essante, but never joined for that express reason. Something just didn't add up.
Her story now is that in 2014 she got a credit card, an iMac and B-School. And within a month she made 10K and went on to a $750K launch in February 2015. The only problem is, she didn't make $750K. With the exception of perhaps 3-4 people, every single person signed up for the 10-month plan at $200/month. So she made roughly $75k on her launch plus some more for hawking affiliate products (like Derek Halpern's Zippy Courses which she sold to her community touting she was switching from Ontraport because it's THAT GOOD! And she never switched, of course, so that was simply a lie to make more money.)
After the first month people started dropping like FLIES. Some got out before the 30-day refund period. Others weren't so lucky. Many people who had joined the course in previous "mini" launches had stopped paying and she just wrote those off and let people stay in the course. The ones who stopped paying after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc months she hounded like crazy. She actually has a person "on staff" who does nothing but collect fees and get new credit cards, etc., which is pretty normal for an internet marketer. MAKING MILLIONS, which she is not.
Another thing Kimra did towards the end of 2014 is get involved with yet another Network Marketing company, Jeunesse, which has some beauty products that, in my own opinion, are super scary. If under eye bags can go away in literally 30 seconds, that s**t is crazy. I have an email from her stating that she is just joining for the money during the launch and trying to get as many people to join as possible. This is AFTER she supposedly started making money with her own program.
All Kimra ever talks about is how much money she has made. Never do you EVER hear about how well her clients and/or students are doing. Kimra has never made any money online outside of her course showing people how to make money online. Kimra is the classic case of "I joined a ton of courses, watched a shitload of videos/webinars, and regurgitated what I learned from other people's hard work and made money with a program showing people how to make money with their own programs before I ever made money." Join a course, any course from a bigger-name coach/trainer and I guarantee you Kimra is in it.
It's nothing but smoke, mirrors, drama and lies.
Anyone who says ANYTHING about her the least bit negative gets kicked out of her group so she can openly talk s**t about them once they are gone. She touts that all these well-known marketers want to know her, join her group, interview her, etc. but they clearly are as perplexed as the rest of us and probably want to know the snake a little better.
As the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
And if she's such a B-School success, why now join the ranks of Marie's BFF's? Because Marie won't touch her with a 10-foot pole. Marie has her own "thing" going on and isn't going to risk that with this fly-by-night bs success "story".
And for everyone who is so quick to call naysayers haters. Not at all. People like Kimra are giving internet marketing / coaching / online businesses a really, really bad name. There are people (many, many people!) who work very hard for a few extra hundred dollars to get a course so they can improve their position in life. And then, they get into the course and it's total bullshit. So much bullshit that she finally had to re-do her course and offer support all of this year just to save face.
I will end with this. Kimra's success is based 100% on Facebook ads. She has admittedly spent almost $20,000 in Facebook ads over the course of a year. And they SUCK. They simply suck. Her conversions are awful and the one thing she isn't afraid to do is spend more money on more ads. What Kimra preys on is people's inability to see through her bullshit and their desire to make money online in their own business. Even her FB ads trainings are so off base it's sad to think people are spending even more money on ads that aren't working. Every day people are posting in her group for help and the majority of people AREN'T GETTING ANYWHERE. Show me ONE person in BTBY that is making 6-figures that wasn't before they joined the course.
