Beware!! Local florist??? Or ...a kim's florist - company is based in california posing as a local florist making local deliveries in wichita falls, tx. Travel time is 16 hrs 33 mins - 1231 miles! Orders are transfered to a grocery store for cut rate flowers & cheap cheap delivery!!! Spend $50.00 - kim's cost at the grocery store is about $17.00. Big profit - easy money

Big Time Scam

You're lucky you even got cut-rate grocery store flowers! So many people have ordered from them and gotten NOTHING! I've reported them to the FTC, BBB and anyone else I can find. I can't believe I fell for this.

No flowers

Well, unfortunately, I also have had the same experience as everyone else. I didn't read reviews beforehand ( wish I had). I was sending flowers to my secretaries to say thank you. They were supposed to be a surprise before the school year begins, just to let them know they are appreciated. Well no flowers; same taped message as everyone else. Wrote emails-no responses. Called my credit card company. I will dispute this claim. This Kim's is definitely a scam-shame on them. I don't like that they have my charge number. I agree-pass the word-do not buy from this Kim's florist.

I'm in Canada, I look up florist in Pointe-Claire, their name appears. The order is to be shipped to Pointe-Claire so naturally I assume their in Canada, let alone Pointe-Claire. The printed order shows $73.97, does not state country currency.

If it showed us funds I would have cancelled immediately. My visa shoes a charge of $100.56 pending conversion fees. I've disputed this charge with visa. I feel it's a scam to get business inferring your local when your not.

I searched for local florist to deliver an arrangement to a friend after the passing of her mother. I spent $75 for the order. Two hours after ordering i received an email advising the order had been cancelled and my money would be refunded in 5-8 business days. I've contacted through email and phone no response. My money has not been refunded. I hope this site is shut down soon and the owners are in jail soon.

no flowers!

I also ordered flowers for a friend and thought this was a local florist in Alabama. To my surprise they sent an email they were refunding my money - no reason. Cannot believe they are allowed online - I don't even know if I can get in touch with them for my refund. Please someone take them off the internet and put them in jail.

I ordered flowers for my mom. They were to be delivered the same day. I received an email early afternoon saying my order was canceled and I would be getting a refund. I tried calling, but no answer. I left an email. The next day, I received two emails saying my money would be refunded. It still has not been refunded.

NO FLOWERS

The exact same thing happened to me yesterday!! I ordered some flowers for the anniversary of the death of best friend's husband as she needed cheering up. I order the flowers at 7:45 a.m. online. I received a confirmation about 30 minutes later. At 5:05 p.m., I receive an email stating it was refunded?? I have called the 800 number 10x at least and emailed 3x. I just started searching and see scam reports all over the internet for them. Darn it!!!

I ordered flowers for my sister who was having a bad day. I wanted to cheer her up.

I went online and typed in florists in the town where she works.

Kim's Florist came up, I chose them because they said same day delivery.

I went ahead and placed the order.

Flowers $35.96

Shipping $14.99

Sales tax $3.95

TOTAL $54.90

June 21, 2017 - 10:18 AM I receive email Order Received- Thank You . Your order has been received along with Order #.

June 21, 2017 - 1:57 PM I emailed and asked when they would be delivered. Heard nothing.

June 21, 2017 - 4:46 PM I received email stating my Kim's Florist order from June 21st has been refunded.

It may take up to 5-7 days for the refund to show up on your account.

June 21, 2017 - 4:55 PM I emailed them back and asked why it was refunded.

I have still not heard back from them.

I tried to call them again this morning and ask why.

I looked them back up on the internet and stumbled upon this.

I wish I had seen this yesterday.

Beware Scam

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • May 15, 2017

I ordered flowers early, to beat the rush for Mother's Day. I searched for what I thought was a local florist as I like to use the little guy instead of corporations. I ordered my flowers on-line from Kim's Florist supposedly in Green Acres, FL, on May 3, 2017. I received a confirmation for my order and everything seemed fine.

On May 14, 2017 (Mother's Day) I came home from work around 12:15 am and checked my email account. I had received an email around 2:30pm on May 13, 2017 telling me my order was being refunded. No explanation or anything. Supposedly my account will be refunded in 4 to 6 weeks. Well now it is too late to do anything about it, because it is now Mother's Day and my Mother lives 8 hours away.

Mom is 85 years old and if this is her last Mother's Day I hate that it will pass with no gift from me.

I hope that I will see a refund in my account and that it will not be emptied out. I wish this "Rip Off" web site had popped up when I was searching for a florist.

  • Feb 25, 2017

Total Rip Off

As shared by others, this is a scam! My friend got a completely different arrangement then what I ordered. I feel fortunate she got something at least! I'm the one that got ripped off. She likes what she got at least! I've called and emailed, no reply of course. Never use this company!

  • Feb 16, 2017

Scam

As stated above, total scam.

Wish i had researched more, honeslty just clicked on the first online floral service for the area.

Invalid email. Number never gets answered- stupid answering machine. Filled out an online contact form with no reply.

Cancelled card and will dispute the charge.

  • Feb 15, 2017

Contacted Kim's Florist after searcing for a florist in our local area. They popped up as a florist serving our area. Web site looked good and proceeded to place order early in morning of Valentine's Day. Paid and thought that would be it.

NOT quite.

No flowers were delivered, no-one answered the listed phone number (800)580-6298 after multiple attempts to enquire about the delivery. NO reply to emails other than a robot generated email stating order has been received. ABSOLUTELY no customer service whatsoever.

Filed a fraudulent claim with my credit card company to recover the payment as services was not delivered as contracted.

WARNING for anyone considering using these folks - THEY ARE A SCAM, DO NOT USE and save yourself the misery and disappointment of dealing with this mess when all you wanted to do is give flowers to someone special on a special day.

I thought I was ordering from a local florist shop after "Googling" florists for Rigby, ID. It wasn't until I attempted to contact them (after ordering, of course) that I found out they list their offices in Irvine, CA.

I chose their "Charm and Grace" bouquet and an Upgrade with more flowers. The online description lists pink lilies, pink roses, pink alstroemeria and white waxflower. Also with a sculpted pink vase. The bouquet that my mother received on her retirement was 3 gerber daisies with a ton of dark greenery. Not one thing in that bouquet represented what I had ordered.

I contacted the local florist that did the actual order. They showed me the work order that they received and it listed incorrect delivery instructions along with "flower substitions" and "vase substitutions."

I have attempted to call them Many times and have left Many phones messages with no response.

I ordered on line from a florist shop in Antioch, Ca. I ordered a ceramic Christmas penguin with a green tree and white flowers with a string of lights around with red ribbon for my brother and his wife. I paid extra $10 for extra flowers and overall cost was over $76.00.

When the arrangement arrived to their home, they sent me a picture of a toppled appearing piece with greenery that was unkempt and maybe five white flowers and not even a red bow...it looked like something my 7 year old grandson would make in first grade. No sophistication and very ugly...I was heartbroken. I called the number they have on the site and left two voice messages, I e-mailed them twice and no one got back to me. So I am out $76.00. I want to sue whoever is doing this because it is not right.

  • Jun 13, 2016

I ordered an attractive "zen arrangement" from the kim's florist website on june 7 and asked that it be delivered to my sister in oakland, ca on june 11, before noon. For whatever reason, a woman who represents that florist ultimately delivered the flowers, an ordinary bouquet of flowers in a glass vase, more than a day later, around 2 pm on june 12. My sister tells me that the flowers seemed to come from central florist in alameda, not from kim's florist. I am extremely disappointed that the wrong arrangement was delivered more than a day late for my sister's 70th birthday. Someone in this operation is dishonest and unreliable, to say the least.

  • May 17, 2016

No Flowers and No Reply

Three days after paying almost $120 Canadian (I didn't realize billing was in US funds) flowers haven't arrived, 1-800# doesn't allow you to leave message, and there has been no response to the email that the message requests I send. I am now trying to get a refund from credit card company. Yes, they state "local" and use the Canadian city you have searched as a family-owned company located there, when in fact they end up being in California...

  • May 15, 2016

Horrible scam! Never use them!

I echo what has been written here: they do not respond to calls and emails, the flowers that were delivered to my uncle's funeral were paltry and embarrassing, nothing near what they advertised. If you do happen to order from them but are wondering, cancel your credit card transaction immediately. It's amazing to me that people will scam others as they try to celebrate family or send condolences. Just pitiful.

  • May 11, 2016

Absolutely horrible

My sister sent me flowers for Mother's Day and I got a bundle of flowers from the grocery store in a horrible vase that was left on my doorstep. It looked nothing like what was ordered and they have not responded at all via phone or email. Beware, they are definitely a scam company...spread the word!

  • May 9, 2016

total rip off

I live in B.C. I also was not aware that this is a US based florist, no mention is on the website.

I ordered flowers to be sent to a Hospital for the arrival of a new baby. When they did not arrive I called no answer I called again & left a message along with the invoice # so that they can track the order as per the message on the machine.

Still no returned call. Then I left a nasty message & I got an email a day later saying that they would refund my money Not funny it was less than what they charged my card.

All I can say is BEWARE DO NOT use this company AT ALL.

  • Feb 4, 2016

Why are these people in business?

Would give them a negative 5 stars if I could. You can only find reviews if you google their name only, without a fake location. My flowers were not delivered and I canceled my order the next day. It is now "on hold" according to my "account" with them. I have called and messaged 10 times with no response. I know I will not get the refund for $101.00 and will have to deal with the bank. They are also collecting a really high sales tax which I bet never goes to the gov't even on the rare occasion that they actually deliver. These were sympathy flowers to my Mother-in-law who lost her youngest son unexpectedly. We need to shut these people down. How horrible of human beings can they be? Next stop BBB. Wish me luck as I do anyone else who had been ripped of by these frauds.

  • Feb 2, 2016

Theives

I would give NO stars if possible. They charged my card and no flowers were delivered. They conveniently are never available to answer the phone and will not return a message. An absolute rip off. Steer clear.

COMPLAINT

I ordered flowers twice in December 2015 from Kim's.

I live in Ontario, Canada and was unaware it was U.S. based, until the credit card bill arrived.

NOT a good thing with the Canadian dollar so low!!

I was more than angry...and plan on letting them know.

If they can be this deceptive in their online advertising, they probably won't care about my complaint.

I will not be ordering from them again!! i will spread the word!!

  • Dec 28, 2015

Yes beware!!!

I wish I had seen the previous reviewer's comments!!! I sent flowers through Kim's-- posing as a local Saratoga,CA florist. Flowers were sent by another florist in Santa Clara. Spent $50.00 and the flowers looked like a $10.00 bouquet stuck in a vase with no arranging. My friend sent a picture of the flowers-- I was so embarrassed!! I tried to reach "Kim's" by phone and email. Several attempts were made, but no response. I always get a message (by phone) and never receive a return call. I called the true local florist that delivered the flowers, but, again, an automatic voice message system again. That florist is: Woodward's Flowers in Santa Clara. I wouldn't use them either!!

Kim's Florist

I ordered flowers for my 94-year-old aunt in Leduc. I prefer to use a local florist and typed in florist Leduc, in Google search. "Kim's Florist in Leduc" came up. It was impossible to reach a live representative and since it was around Christmas, I ordered the flowers online as the telephone answering message suggested. Strangely I then received a refund notice in my junk mail. I did further research and discovered that Kim's Florist in Leduc is not a local florist in Leduc. They must have a computer program that automatically adds the city when you type in florist and the particular city one is searching.

After receiving the refund message I canceled the flower order and did receive a refund to my credit card. But my 94-year-old aunt did not receive flowers on her special day.I would never use Kim's Florist again. After her birthday I ordered flowers through a florist that Is actually in the city of Leduc. For future reference I will always talk to an agent and confirm that they are in the city I am ordering flowers. I was never able to talk to anyone in person even though I called the number listed several times. That is a red flag always. Kim's Florist is deceptive and are not a local florist.

  • Dec 24, 2015

Terrible!!!

Wish I read the reviews before I spent my time and money choosing Christmas gifts for family. I was suckered by the "family owned" and wanted to support them. They promised same day delivery but hours later I received an email saying the order was cancelled. No reason why, no apology and too late for me to find an alternative. So no flowers for my in-laws or my mother. I will never give these people another penny and you shouldn't either. Save your time and money - stay away.

Worst Florist ever!!!!

Don't order from this place!!! Ordered funeral flowers and they never arrived.

  • Nov 30, 2015

Worst florist ever!!!

Do not order flowers from this place!!!!! Ordered funeral flowers and they never arrived!

  • Nov 18, 2015

BS- local florist scam

not even a local presence in Colorado. family owned is trying to get you to believe they are locally owned and operated.

cancelled order after having in their possession for five hours, no reason given....

do NOT use this company

  • Nov 6, 2015

Rip off

Paid extra for more flowers. Got a total of 8 flowers in arrangement. It was delivered for a birthday a week early and the arrangement looks nothing like pictured. I will never purchase from this company again. I could have purchased this from a grocery store for a quarter of the price.
