They provide the $20.00 Fill Up with various assorted pieces of chicken. Backs thighs , legs and some wings. Plus: The $20.00 Fill Up has, some sides and six bisquits. When we went to the drive thru. Night Manager , and Night Cashier : Bradley was working. We explained to cashier Bradley, we wanted the , $20.00 Fill Up. He indicated this only comes with : ( Legs and wings). No where is this advertised. This is : ( False Advertising ) A violation of: Business and Professions Codes: 1-7500, 1-7200, 1-7509. Night employee Manager and cashier used another violation. California Labor Codes: 1050 and 1053. Misrepresentation. To a paying customer. He also comited to crimes against public policy: At will employee comited two crimes. California Penal Code: 488. This is ( Petty Theft ). The other crime , Night Manager and Cashier commited was: California Penal Code: 484a. This is the crime of fraud. Never no schedule up , attitude when I repeattedly ask for my schedule, fuses blowing repeatedly, basically forced to work a extra shift out of the kindness of my heart and I can't even f**king get my check how do you make a hundedd and eighty bucks in one month of working. I am pissed.
The corporate office advertises "$5.00" fill-ups, a meal consisting of an entree, a cookie and a drink for $5.00. This restaurant and KFC's in the area, charge $5.49. When we complain they say it is because of the increase in the minimum wage in California. I'm fine with paying the $5.49. However, I am not fine with having it advertised for $5.00 and then having to pay a higher price. We have complained to the manager with no success. The owner refuses to return phone calls. The corporate office refuses to do anything about it and will no longer take my phone calls. It's really a simple matter - they need to charge the same price that is advertised. if they want to charge more, they can and should change their advertising. Otherwise it's called "fraud".
We waited in line for 25 minutes. When the clerk, Selena, finally waited on us she told us they were out of all kinds of items including dark meat, and tenders. Not a big deal we just wanted an 8 piece bucket original. She said she cannot make any more, and she has to charge us extra for white meat!
This is proposterous and absurd!! I told her "You do not have to charge us extra. You made us wait and you're going to pay the extra price". She was shocked I was arguing back with her and I told her what she was going to do.
We left instead of ordering food. Don't ever go to this KFC. There are other locations in Tucson and I do not know if they are better.
The Waterford (Highland Rd.) KFC, deserves to be condemned. I recently visited this location and received the worst service ever provided in fast food. The workers filled food orders without washing their hands or using plastic gloves after handling money. The store was near closing (one hour prior) and employees were working to clean the store as well as shut down for the evening therefore the unsatisfactory state of the lobby and food preparation area was disregarded.
A young female employee emptied and changed the trash in the lobby area, entered behind the counter & proceeded to prepare our order without washing her hands or applying gloves (this practice seemed all too routine for all of the staff). When my husband caught the attention of a male employee standing closely, to advise him of this, he started to remake our order but disclosed to the employee (clearly breaking health codes) of the matter. The employee replied by advising loud enough to reach my husband and I that it "was not her problem".
I contacted the store the following day to speak with a manager and recieved a dry apology with no recourse of any sorts. To make matters worse, I was advised by this shift manager that she was present the previous night and advised of the matter, yet the employees failed to ensure the matter was addressed and resolved at the time of our visit. There was no follow up or concern for the treatment received.
Corporate was contacted and a complaint filed under Case ID number: 8N5WB on Sunday, July 9, 2017 moments after speaking with the shift manager. I was informed that I would be contacted, however, 11 days removed, have not received any follow up. The local health department has been contacted and a BBB report will also be filed concening this matter.
