I have been a customer since September 2018 and have had nothing but trouble since. Today was the last straw. I deposited a $500 check from a local prestigous law firm on a consult I had done for them last week from a local bank.
Yesterday it was available in my account in full and I scheduled payments off that. Well today their so called fraud department, flagged it and removed the amount from my account. it has been 5 days since deposit the check did not bounce and it doesnt take that long to claer. KEYBANK is a scam and horrible
Someone hacked my email address of [email protected], my name, possibly my phone, and social security to obtain a credit card with Key Bank.
I live at Lacey, Washington . I had a checking account with Key Bank for short time till it got defrauded and resolved last May.
I do not have a Key Bank account, yet Key Bank is reporting to all 3 credit bureaus that I have an account with Key Bank with a credit line now available for $11,500. The account number is 5329142000658990.
I hope you will investigate and stop reporting to 3 credit bureaus that I have a Key Bank account with above information.
Someone has hacked my personal information and not receieved any mail at above home address from Key Bank so must be using my name at a different address.
Also, the local Key Bank branch would not help me as it said that the account is current and being paid so someone so they suggested I report fraud investigation with Key Bank.
Someone has hacked and using my name and social security number to get a Key Bank account and Key Bank continues to report to the 3 credit bureaus that I have an account as it is effecting my credit score.
Hopefully we can resolved soon, and find out who is doing this to my name and social security number.
I have reported the above information to all 3 credit bureaus and hopefully you will find out who has hacked my name and personal information to get this resolved.
Those who are not (Members) of Key Bank are charged $7.50 to cash a check written to them on Key Bank accounts if you go to the Key bank location. This is an underhanded attempt to get people to open accounts with Key Bank while fleecing cash from the check holder if they do not comply. They also have offered $200.00 to open an account this should be a warning sign to people if a Company must offer to pay you to work with them they plan on making that money back in some way; what do you think they will do to make that money back?
Deposited $90 when the bank opened. Had a balance of -$20.82 at the time .got home checked my new balance and found out I now am-$32.21with a reoccurring debit amt. that wasn't there earlier. My $90 deposit is still pending and has not apparently made it into the acct. yet. This is just one of many times that they have overcharged double charged or just moved amts around so they can take overdraft charges.
