Kevin McDermott (or Kevin Hughs) has, for over 20 years, ripped off decent, hard-working people who have hired him to do contracting work. He always asks for money to either buy materials or as a deposit; he takes their money and they never see him again. Also, he will start a job and never finish it. He has been getting away with this for years and needs to be stopped. Kevin always uses excuses such as he's getting surgery, he has cancer (he doesn't), and other ridiculous excuses as to why he's not showing up to finish (or start) the job in question. He often changes his phone number, moves around frequently, and has different business names. One of them is Uncommon Millwork. We are building a team of people who have been cheated and robbed by Kevin and are letting people know so they don't also get ripped off. He currently goes by the name KEVIN MOTT. He says he lives in Agassi, but actually lives in Langley. He drives a Ford 150 Black plus Red.

In jan 2018 Kevin came to do some renos on our bathroom... he said at first it would be 2 weeks and 2 weeks turned into 4 and many excuses came to follow in the end it will almost be 5 months and the job is s**t and not finished to our liking... this man needs to be stopped! He has been living in the langely area and last i seen was driving a black ford f150 with a cover on the back... he comes off as a real nice guy but then does not finish the job he says he was going to do...
