Wow! This person deserves a special place in the list of con men we have encountered in the trucking industry. He found our trucking company via our advertisement on indeed.com website. He said we needed to send him money for his travel expenses and hotel accommodation in Dayton, OH. He paid for his travel and hotel and he never showed up on the agreed day. He resurfaced again after a few weeks, claiming that he was in jail after a domestic violence with his wife (he did not provide any supporting facts to corroborate his excuse).
We needed a driver at the time and Kevin Bryant knew how to convince us with his fake confidence and initially nice manners. On June 7, we paid again for Kevin's travel and accommodation in Dayton, OH. He gave him benefit of the doubt despite logical red flags. We thought everyone deserved a second chance.
After a few days, we discovered that Kevin made significant misstatements and falsified records to get a contract with us. His background was not clean as he was lying to us in writing and with his signature. Had we known this person was crook and financial exploiter we would not have dealt with him.
On a constant basis, Kevin was demanding money from us for his work every day. He was driving to places we did not ask him to drive. He took our truck to his home without our permission. We was lying to our dispatchers and clients. He also got into physical fight at the warehouse that belonged to one of our clients.
Later Kevin stole our work equipment and fuel card and disappeared. Only after we called Dayton Police Department and documented all wrongdoings by Kevin, he finally got in touch with us. We had to file a police report and call 911 on this guy. Stay away! He is trouble! He will sweet talk you and be super friendly. At the end, he will take advantage of you as much as he can. Report him to authorities whenever it is appropriate under law.
