When I ordered the free watch, I read the page carefully and paid the shipping and handling charges with the order. On January 2, 2018 $98.41 was withdrawn from my account by Riva. I didn't know what riva was and it took me hours to find it online I could not find anything I needed to get in touch with them. I took it to a store to get the bracelet shortened but there was no tech there to do it so I took it home and put it back in the box. It was 1-1/2" too large to fit my arm. That payment was withdrawn 2 weeks after I received the watch. I was horrified when I saw what they had done but decided to keep the watch even at that price saying "live and learn". Dumb!
Then today on February 3, 2018 I got a package in the mail from RIVA. It was another watch. I immediately checked by bank and they had withdrawn another $98.41!. It has taken me most of the day to track them down online and I finally found a contact phone number and called them. It was customer service. It turns out it was a trial of 14 days and then you had to contact them to send it back for a refund. Apparently there was something I was supposed to check. I'm still not sure what that was for. This is a FREE REWARD watch! She said they would refund $73. for the watch I had just received and nothing for the first watch. I lost it and started yelling back and forth because I wanted by money back! I said I was sending both of them back and I wanted my money for both of them. She put me on hold and after 10 minutes lost the call. I called back and got a different girl. She told me it would take 3 weeks to get my refund back to me. Also I had to put a RMA number for each watch written with a black sharpie on the outside of the box AND also written on something inside of the box I do not know how much I am getting back since I was having trouble communicating with them. I wish I could remember the survey that started all this, but I can't. I don't know where the fault lies but I need to get my money back and warn people about this company.
