He pulled over to the shoulder, and as we were passing him, he suddenly turned 90 degrees into the side of our car and hit us in the middle of the front passenger door. We were out of cel phone range, so i told him that it was his fault, and he acknowledged that fact in front of me and two passengers. I took his name, and said that i expected a call from the insurance company the next morning, and he said that he would report it right away.
I never heard from kemper insurance, so we called our state farm insurance, and they told me that they had already settled the claim, in favor of kemper, and that this lying jerk had blamed me for the wreck, and threatened them with a lawsuit or at least told them that he is a lawyer...
I now have a "point" on my driving record, and my insurance rate has doubled, because the insurance companies got together and realized that they couldn't raise enterprise's rates, because they are such a big account, so they made me "51%" at fault, and raised the bill. Insurance companies are not your "good neighbor" or your "friend".
If i had known that this weasel was a lawyer, i never would have let him off so easily,,,he is a little worm, and was shaken up, and clearly at fault, so i just relied upon him to report the facts and to have his insurance call me,,,big mistake. So i see that the yscam about his unethetical and unprofessional conduct has risen up on the google search page to be just under his own webpages, so i hope that this will be part of that story too
William Kermisch hides behind his competitively low hourly wage charge (which was worthless). He did not prepare or minimally prepared for court appearances. He would apologize for being unprepared for court, then charge for and say he would file a "reconsideration" but did not file the court documents. He did not follow the client's requests saying "it's not worth the money I am charging you". He did what he wanted when he wanted as long as it resulted in a payment to himself or his law firm. He did not give a d**n about the client or the children she was supporting unless it benefitted him and then he did a poor job because he got made sure to get paid no matter the quality or the outcome of his work. His partner is a better businessman. He bribes clients not to post negative feedback. However, he will deny whatever William has historically stated to a client. William Kermisch's representation cost me over $1,000,000. This lawyer is not above the law! Stay clear of this firm unless you want to pay a wimp to represent you and screw you over.
