On April 22, 2017 I hire Kelly Badger, Kelly Badger Photography take my daughters senior pictures. I wrote her a check that day for half of it which was $125.00 and the other half will be paid when the photos was handed to me. I asked Kelly deposit the check the next following Friday when I got paid, which it was April 28, 2017 and she said okay.
We scheduled my daughter photo shoot at 5:30pm on April 30, 2017 in Woodlands, Texas. All that weekend i bought alot of things for her shoot such shoes, clothes, getting hair done, makeup done at Nordstrom buying props for the seniors pictures. It was a lot to be done.
April 30, 2017 the photo shoot went well. I asked Kelly can she send me four photos so my job can customized her invitations and it will take two weeks to get the invitations back. She told me she would send the four photos but when she did it was low resolution so it can't be printed out. Kelly told me that she can send me the invoice for the other $125.00 so
She can have my pictures back by Wednesday (May 3, 2017). She sent me the invoice for $125.00 thru PayPal on Monday, May 1,2017. She called me and told on Monday my check was no good that i gave her on April 22, 2017. I told her that was impossible. I called my credit union and there was some fraudulent activities on my account on Saturday April 29, 2017.
I called Kelly back and text her and told her what happened to my account and will have your money on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She said she would send me a different invoice through PayPal for the whole entire amount, which it was $250.00
I got up the next morning got to work on May 2, 2017(Tuesday) and approximately at 10: 28am I paid the invoice through PayPal for the full amount through my debit card. When PayPal sent me my email stated the transaction was completed. I screen shot it to her to let her know it was done that she can send me my daughter senior pictures.
I sent over two different emails stated she has her money. She text me back and said " I see no funds in my PayPal. will call PayPal and see if I can find out what the issue is." I told her it was there and I need my daughter photos. I told her it was out of my account.
Kelly texted and told me " PayPal has informed me that your payment will not clear until after May 23rd for some reason, so in order for me to process your photos and send the images on a rush tomorrow, I will need to be paid in full with a cashier check today. Thank you." I flipped out and I was like wait a minute you have your money. She kept telling me she doesn't.
I called PayPal asked about the transaction and Chris told me that she does have her money and the reason why it’s a 21 day hold on the money is because Kelly Badger Photography is new to PayPal and its always a hold no matter what. Kelly never informed me it was a hold on her business account or gave me an option to go get her a cashier check so I can have the pictures that day.
Her text was " Either way, I cannot release any images to you until I have the payment cleared into my account (but this is all her fought not putting it into her contract and not letting her client no about the 2l day hold). I understand you need these photos on a rush, and I'm more than happy to do that for you. But I cannot release anything to you until I have been paid,
As I never got a full down payment from you either. If you would like these photos by Wednesday (May3.2017) as we discussed, you may bring me the $250.00 in cash or a cashier check today. If you choose to go this route, we can cancel the PayPal payment all together after I've received the funds from you. Thank you."
i told her i wasn't about to pay her double if she already have the money from me and PayPal. Kelly Badger didn't read her disclaimer with PayPal stating her new business account. Then I told her she wanted to do this PayPal invoice not me and why did she tell me that she has a new business account with PayPal and I could have paid her cash.
Then she text me "You can cancel the PayPal Payment and pay me cash." I called and talked to Lynn at PayPal and explain the urgency of my daughter senior pictures and she put a favorite in and switches the hold on the payment from 21 to 7 day hold which it would be May 9, 2017 when her money will be off hold. Kelly still wouldn't release my daughter's
Senior pictures. PayPal told me I couldn't canceled the payment because it was in Kelly Badger Photography's possession. She has to cancel it. I was texting her and telling what she need to do. She text me and told me "I am in class until 4:30 pm. I will address this with after."
She called me about 4:42pm and I told her I will called PayPal on three-way and we going to get to the bottom of this. We got Chris back on the phone from PayPal and I start talking explaining to him I have Kelly Badger on the phone. Chris told Kelly that the payment has successfully went through and you can release the photos to Terri Richard.
I asked PayPal why is there a hold on the account, he said the same thing because "Kelly Badger Photography is new to PayPal and to protect our buyer (which is called a Buyer Protection) we want to guarantee that you receive your photos and that you're satisfied with your photos. Kelly Badger and I listening to the agent from PayPal and once again told
Kelly she will have the money available to her on May 9, 2017. So i told him Thank you and we disconnect the phone. She texted me and told me “Simply pay in cash or a cashier check today if you would like to get your photos tomorrow and cancel the PayPal transaction. There is no way around this. Thank you.
Kelly Badger doesn't think PayPal is money and keep telling me on this day there is no way around it. I paid her in full. That was Tuesday so on Wednesday she text me and stated " Terri, I went ahead a canceled your PayPal payment. PayPal has issued your refund. Please make your full payment in cash to receive your photos next day. Thank you.
I asked Kelly can i see a preview of my photos so I can know what I am getting. Than she text back that "You will not see any photos until you pay your bill. I text her back “That’s what I want to hear. No probably. She text back and said "Once I've received your in cash the photos will be prepped and available online for viewing."
I text her back and said "I am paying for something that I can't see. Okay. Okay..! I will give you your money. She said, "Great" On May 4, 2017 at 5:06pm I received a text from Kelly Badger "Hey, Lauren's photos turned out beautiful. If you'd still like to purchase them (after she canceled the payment on Wednesday) let me know when you can meet. If i don't receive payment by Monday, the photos will be deleted from archive. Thank you."
i text back and said, That's insane because PayPal told me it will take 3-5 business days to get my money back..! So why would you canceled something and you already had the payment. She texted back “I never received payment. PayPal issued you a return. I'll accept cash only."
I would never want anybody to her again she is the most difficult person I ever dealt with. On May 5, 2017 at 10:51 am I purchase the cashier check for $250.00. I text her and told her the same thing and I will meet you tomorrow. She text me and address for Starbucks in Spring, Texas an hour away from my home.

May 7, 2017 at 9;53 am I text her and ask her "What time you want to meet and where" no response and at 10:49 I text her and said "You need to let me know where we are meeting at today, I can't do it doing
The week. I know you got my text messages earlier." no response at 12:14pm I sent her another text” I am super happy I have all these text messages especially the ones you don't text me back. I will text you all day today. Just for my record."
I called her phone at 1;01pm and left her a detailed message and to let her know that this has been recorded. Guess what at all of sudden at 1:07pm she text me back this lie " I have been a photo shoots all morning. I do not address my phone when I am with a client. I can meet you at 6;30pm at the address at sent you originally. Thank you.
That is a lie because she told me she take evening photos because the sunset is the best. She was just ignoring me the whole time. I sent her a text at 6:19pm stating "I am here and it’s a shame you have me drive this long way." She text me back and said meet me at the outside tables." I said, " I am inside." and she text back "Come outside". And I
Text her back and said "You can come inside.! It's hot outside. She try to be so fake and I handed her my cashier check at 6:30pm and I ask her to send my pictures through email and she told me she wasn’t going to do that until she get deposit into her account. When you purchase a cashier check you have to pay cash for it.
I asked for my check and she said she shredded it and I told i wanted it back way would you do that and then her lying but going to tell me that she will mailed it to me and I asked her how you going to mailed it back to me if you shredded it. Just lies and deception.
May 8, 2017 I have called the credit union at 10;17 am and 1:22pm and the cashier check hasn't been cash and she just holding on to it and making me suffer. I know she is at school but she is pushing my time to get my daughter's invitation made.
Its 2:15pm Monday, May 9, 2017 and I still haven't received my daughters pictures. She is horrible person, not understand I would never recommend anyone to her. I work for a marketing and advertising firm and I know so many, many, and many because of my networking base. Paid for I haven't got or received.
