WARNING- ask for an itemized receipt...they are pocketing a little from each customer...tax free income. I have NEVER been treated so terribly by a staff member AND AN OWNER in my life. Two snowcones $11.50... I tried to question the girl but she rolled her eyes and said "what!? What's wrong with it?!" I drove down the road and thought that couldnt be right. When I added everything up, they over charged me on top of making money off the $1.50 they charge you for using a credit card. I was already 2 miles down the road and decided to turn around because the girl was so rude to me .. and because I work hard for my money just for them to be so rude and careless...or purposely stealing. I went back and the rude girl, a hispanic skinny girl with black horned glasses, gave me an attitude from the begining, she REFUSED to add everything up because she knew she was wrong. In the meantime, what looked to be the owner working next to her "Clay", said "what is she griping about? Get her out of here and send her to the side of the building". I could not believe how rude and unprofessional he was! By this time I'm upset. I said "just show me how you got that amount?" Again, she refused and said, in a very condesending tone, "here you want a quarter, here's a quarter!" The "owner" laughed in the background. This infuriated me. I said "NO!! I don't want your quarter, I want you to figure out exactly how much you owe me!" At this time, with an attitude, she pulls a " mam, I don't have to put up with you talking to me that way". I said "you and the owner have been giving me attitude the whole time for a mistake you made!" I told them that I would never return and would call the BBB because of the way they treated me. She said" LOOK AT ALL THESE CUSTOMERS, DO YOU THINK WE CARE!? RUN ALONG" As the owner is laughing. I said "you know what? Take your quarter" and I flipped it towards the tip jar. She said "**** *** *****!" The owner laughed. I drove down the road upset and called up there to talk to the owner, Clay answered the phone. I told him I was floored by the fact that he allowed his workers to treat customers that way, he laughed, "are you done yet? go on... have a nice life" and hung up laughing. Im not sure why he thinks his snowcones are so fantastic that he can treat people that way. Having owned my own food business, I was humble and truly thankful for each customer who spent money on our products. I started working in the 90's in resturants and my managers always taught us to treat customers with the upmost respect, to be thankful for every person's business, and people's time and money matter, even if it was $0.01 and to NEVER argue with a customer or tell them they're wrong. I do not believe this establishmemt deserves anyone's business. Just know that if you go there, this owner is extremely arrogant and will take your money and business for granted. He also hires rude staff because he doesn't take your business seriously. Dont be fooled, Even if he's nice to you, he's laughing at night as he counts your hard earned money and has a stack of taxfree money from overcharging customers he blatantly could careless about. Now my stomch hurts from that cheap low quality syrup. If you truly dont care about your customers, why would you care about good quality products and service? I will take my business elsewhere. Hopefully you will take my advice and give your money to a more deserving owner and staff.
