On February 25th, I emailed "Kasey Bean" through a Craigslist Ad for a 1 Bedroom Apartment for Rent for $1500 this included $500 for depoist and $1500 for first month's rent.
Kasey Bean provided an email address: Noblehomesublet and phone number 315-291-0022 to continue exchanging information about the apartment. Move in dates, additional photos of the apartment were confirmed through email. She provided a lease agreement, her bank account and routing number.
On February 26th, I provided confirmation of a Pop Money transfer through my Citibank account. I continued to exchange email and text communication with "Kasey Bean" she explained that the money had not reached her account and could not confirm the confirmation code until she had the depoist.
On March 1st, she confirmed the deposit had been recieved and she would be providing a confirmation and the current person in the apartment needed an additional day to move out and I could move in on Thursday March 4th.On Wednesday, March 3rd at 11:03pm "Kasey Bean" sent a confirmation code RT568409SY, asking that this and the lease be brought to meet the property manager to pickup the keys. She would confirm the time.
I called, emailed and sent text to "Kasey Bean" starting on March 4th starting at 8:49am-3:41pm with no reponse.
On Thursday March 3rd at 9:04pm I emailed the Craigslist link and noblehomesublet email requesting that the funds be sent back or I would be pursing a police report and any other avenues to recoup the 2k that had been sent to her.
As of March 6th the listing has been posted back on Craigslist https://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/sub/5478976389.html
