I purchased this product on 8/20/2013. It was supposed to be a one-time payment of $67. Not very user-friendly and if you asked for assistance, God help you because Bob is quite hot-headed and has been known to ban customers with little provocation. One look at the responses he posts on the support website will tell you this person has to be handled with kid gloves if you don't want your head bitten off. I recently bought a new laptop and was trying to use the program but was being blocked. I sent an email to support and was directed to a link on their support page explaining that there was an upgrade with three different price points, depending on if you required help with moving your files. (Since I no longer have access to the link because, you guessed it--I got banned, I can only tell you one figure of $45.) After reading the posts from customers who did the upgrade and had problems with it, and the curt replies from support, I opted to stick with the old program.

Mind you, the message I got didn't say an update was required.

So after a little retooling I was able to get the software working again only to receive a message saying my voice was on ignore and I needed to go to the support chat room. When I did, this was the exchange that took place:

Hi. Got a message saying I'm on ignore for an unknown error and to come here.

I really can't afford to do that right now.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that.

<&phantomleap> one of the ways that is taken care of is by users, like yourself, getting an upgrade especially when they've been using the resources for 4 years.

<&phantomleap> maybe I'm not making sense, that's okay. you are 100% aware of karaoke info's support policy and that you are well beyond that.

It was my understanding that my purchase for the service was a one-time cost.

Creepiest...thing...ever. Then I was immediately set back to ignore and couldn't access the service, support website, nothing. I sent an email to support saying that since he decided to keep me from using a service I already paid for I wanted a refund. I was told I was crazying if I thought he would do that.

Do not use this service unless you want to be treated this way.
