Outside Chase bank ans Starbucks in Laguna Hills, CA a man drew my attention by asking if I lived in the area, he actually looked familiar so I stopped and did a double take, which further engaged converstaion. I told him I worked in the area, realized I didn't know him and he said wait I see you have a truck I have all of these tv's I picked up come look I'm trying to get rid of a few they're really nice. I don't know what drew me over there, but I glanced and he's showing me a magazine that shows a picture of a TV retail 2800, how much could I give him for it and before I'm even agreeing he's putting it my truck. I don't know why I didn't stop it, but all the sudden I'm saying I have some cash and he's making small talk but I'm feeling very harassed and offering him money and he's trying to get more and more I throw $170 at him, he's still trying to get more, says you know what I'll give it to you.
Turns out its not a TV but a home theatre system Kamron audio ka-42 made to look like a TV box, completely fake website and contact information. I felt very accosted and robbed and embarrassed to have fallen for such a scam I was just thinking that wasn't bad for a new tv...incident reported to local authorities.
I have an awsome home theatre system. Kamron Audio 1500watt 2000 watt peak. I love it. Sounds amazing! Complete 4K surround sound with 2 10" subs in the same box. My amp is a jvc 3000watt and I can run it cranked all day long... Very strong speakers.

Even had paperwork in his truck with the copmpany name on it. He said they, FELL OFF THE TRUCK. Worse part about it is I believed it because I was a truck driver my whole life, and things do end up in your hands. This is the biggest and BEST scam system on earth. They used to sell the EXACT same item under the name, NOLYN ACOUSTICS, I found out after the fact. I even scanned the bar code with my cell phone, and the product came up under google with a MSRP of $2,087.00. You can even go on the computer and type in there web address and all the products come up. THIS IS A PROFESSTIONAL at there best.

After getting to Atlanta we pulled it up on the Internet and found what was going on. The two men were in A black Cadillac Escalade North Carolina plates anyone interested in the tag number I have it to.

Rolled up in Home Depot asked me a a weird question and said they have a really good home theater system that was extra from a job they did that was paid for and there boss just takes the items they returns and sells it for himself! So afford $1950 for $700. Seemed legitimate opened it up looks good didn't realize it doesn't have a blue ray player it's just speakers! Lesson learned! Don't purchase crap even if it seems legit

They said they install electronics and this job- Buffalo Wild Wings- ordered too many tv's so if they don't unload it the contractor will take it back- that was the first line of the scam.
He had a whole trunk full of Karmon KA-42 (actually a home theater system) and the one front man- main sales/scam artist was quick to show me pricing of the unit 2100 bucks- then he starts pulling out an electronic magazine- again he had it all down. I said no I wasn't interested but he was very persistent- grabbed a box and put it in my car- said to me I will take $600. I said no way I don't have it- he kept pushing me to go back to my bank - another strategy is for them to scam people near ATM machine of a bank, so the victim can pull out the cash. They work in teams and very quick, he put one item in the back of my truck- mind you the box is huge- I said no no no thank you. He said come on - come on your getting a deal and I said NO - as I started to walk away he blocked me from getting into my car- I felt like I had to pay him to make him leave me alone. Super aggressive, and as they pulled away very fast I recogized they probably scammed me, big time. They were driving a later model Toyota 4-Runner gun metal gray, CA tags put probably a rental or who knows.
These guys were trainined and professional scam artists/thieves- they obviously pray on people that are alone and are somewhat remotely parked away from other people. I wonder if they know where cameras are at these malls, they are smart not to park near the bank parking lot as the cameras could pick them up. Yes I am foolish and yes I fell for it- 150 bucks is what they got from me, not bad for 10 min. They will get caught eventually at least that is my hope. I was meant to learn a lesson from this- life is all about them- you can't getting something for nothing and to really basically trust no one- city living is tough. I was in Hawaii and full of trust and faith for human race after 4 years and now my guard is back up where it used to be after this. I donated the junk speakers to Goodwill I guarantee they were fakes- the whole thing was fake and these guys being so young will end up in a place they wished they never would go- a career ripping people off is eventually going to end. Police report filed- my pride totally wrecked - but I'll get over it could have been for a lot more money!
Two men in a van said they were installing them in Wild-wings restaurants and his uncle had 5 extra TV's to unload, wanted $400.00 . He took $120.00 After reviewing the SCAM report I hope it works. I am sure I'll never see them again.
