I am a good person who worked two jobs for 8 years to support my family and take in rescue dogs. My little dogs would run to the camper with excitement. They are 7 plus years and I tried to give them as much enjoyment as I could since they have suffered so much. They enjoyed going out in a kayak. One is blind and the other is going blind. I just don't understand why people are so mean.
Unethical sales practice. I am a first time buyer and relied on the sales person to be honest. I was told this pop up camper I purchased was in working order and no issues. I believed him to later I found many issues such as broken oven, toilet and lift. i took the vehicle back in to have the lift repaired and in the process they had the camper for three months which the unit leaked and damaged the wood in the ceiling. The employees removed my air conditioning cover and this allowed water to leak in the ceiling. The ceiling is molding and sagging. the company said it is not their problem. The company sold a unit that the lift could of fallen and killed my family. Kamper City has no ethics or honest sales practice. They lie to make a sell without any concern for the customer or well being.

I would like to share our story. My fiancé went to Kamper City to get a pop up camper. He had no knowledge on campers. He listened to the sales person who said this was a good camper for the family. This camper soon had many issues with the roof. The owner Michael took the camper in and designed a new lift system at a lower cost but after spending 8500 on a camper it was hard to hand over more money. Since then the this camper has been a nightmare. The cables somehow became bound in the wall. We called Kamper city and the employee explained to a third party how to bypass the safety switch to try to get the top down, He said it would not hurt the motor to crank it down. After paying to have the camper towed to the location as the employees direction we were told it would cost to much to repair. They wanted it off the lot, again had to pay to remove. I take my son who has been diagnosed with severe social anxiety camping to help him overcome this a little at a time. I also take my 3 rescue dogs camping where we walk and enjoy time together. These dogs have been severely abused and camping is a quiet place for them away from people.
This camper has been a nightmare and it would have been nice for this owner to just switch this camper at the start. Referenced by an individual at the business location was made about this camper not being safe without safety bars to support the roof. I am sickened by the fact I had my son and dogs in this camper and the roof could have come down and possibly killed them. I understand my fiancé should have did his research on campers and this company but he wanted to trust them. It is a sad society that companies take advantage of consumers and then try to stand behind lawyers. I am sure the owner will claim slander but I am just being honest. As this company says sold as is. If a company is honest and proud of what they do they should do what it takes with in reason to protect the customer. We have a $8500 box that cannot be used. My son is devastated that he cannot go camping. This was his freedom without being overwhelmed around people. I do not have the money to purchase a new camper. I had surgery last year and I am still recovery from medical bills. Our hearts are broken by this company. We should have gone to G****** or A***** or anywhere else then maybe we would be camping this summer. Now we will not have any vacation thanks to Kamper City.
