When my claim was dismissed, Rahul Shastri and David Winer advised me to appeal and they drafted appeal material . I fired them and went to another lawyer who advised me that Rahul Shastri and David Winer had drafted Deficient Pleadings and Deficient Appeal Material. The Court of Appeal then confirmed that Rahul Shastri and David Winer had NOT included in the motion material for leave to amend my pleadings although Shastri had insisted to me that he had. Because Shastri and Winer had not asked for leave to amend pleadings before the motion Judge, the Court of Appeal refused to grant leave. Save yourself grief and stay away from the law firm Kagan Shastri LLP and the lawyers Rahul Shastri and David Winer. I would not recommended these lawyers or law firm.
David Winer convinced me to bring an expensive motion that he said he could win. David Winer lost the motion . Winer wanted to include clauses in the Reply which are equivalent to a Counterclaim to a Counterclaim. Winer should have simply amended the claim. Instead he took steps that were most expensive for me and increased his bill to me. I was not impressed by him
