Total Scam

Total Scam. Charged every month and got zero for my money. If you have money to just piss away, this is the place for you. Otherwise, just put the money you would pay to them into your pocket.

JWiz Scam Artist

JWiz are a total scam. There offices are in 3001 NE 185th St, Unit 513, Aventura FL 33180and 125-10 Queens Blvd., #14, Kew Gardens, NY 11415. They sell you a marketing package that will not benefit your business. You will not receive any leads at all. They try to get you on a trial period and even though they agree to a term they later try and get you on a auto renewal period. The sales representative David Haim (aka the thief) and I had crossed out that provision as part of my agreement but after a year, I get a call that the contract was renewing. The representative then offered to "Settle" for a fee so that I can cancel the renewal. They then ask if I had the contract in front of me, but do to the Covid 19 Pandemic my office was closed and I didn't have immediate access to the contract. I explain that due to the Pandemic we are trying to find ways to stay in business and its a shame that their business is ripping off small businesses. They keep calling and wasting my time and its obvious this is a method of harassment they have perfected.

I signed up for their service and received zero referrals. After a year passed, I received a call telling me that I owed an additional fee because there was an automatic renewal. I said that I did not sign up for an auto renewal and they said that this was stipulated on the back of the contact I signed. I have the original contact which had no back side. I asked them to send me a copy of the contract and I never received it.

Summary: they don't deliver on what they promise, they attempt to extort money by lying about what you signed up for, they prey on small businesses and new businesses, their website is very bad if you dig deeper than just a quick view.

In November 2015, I was contacted by JWIZ, an advertising service. The representative claimed my business was referred to them by one of our clients. Since we do a lot of work within the community, it was at first , believable. I went, in person, to the office located at 125-10 Queens Blvd, in Kew Gardens, NY 11415 suite #14. I had an extensive meeting with Ms. Jennifer Paz, and I signed my company to a 1 year contract for $3000. I have the original copy of the contract I signed. On 2/2/17, I returned a call from JWIZ, and they stated i owed a balance. When I questioned the balance, since I was paid in full for a year, I was told they had an automatic renewal system, and unless I canceled in advance, i was

going to be renewed for another $3000. I told the rep, that was not in my contract and I only signed for a year. The rep, then asked me if I had my contract. I said yes and I am looking at it and there is clearly a check box checked for one year. There were additional option check boxes for 2 and three years, but the one year box was checked. She then stated their policy and I interrupted her, and told her, if it is not written on the contract, it is not valid. I read the contract to her , front and back , and no where on the contract does it say anything about an automatic renewal. And obviously, since there are multiple check boxes for one , two, and three year options, that is a clear indications, that no such auto renewal

policy was ever discussed, or in place at the point of signing this contract. I was placed on hold several times and transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor restated their police and I stated the law of contracts and I will see them in court, in which I reminded them this is a binding contract and if it is not stated on the contract, I am not responsible for any balance outside of this contract. I further stated , that even if this was there policy, not stated on the contract, and not valid, that my cancellation for any "auto renewal" was clear upon meeting Ms. Paz, their representative, in person, when I stated I was only signing for one year, as indicated on the contract. I was placed on hold again. I was then told, they

would update my account to show no balance. After looking on the BBB website, this is very similar to the last complaint received by BBB for this business. That Business owner obviously did not have in their possession, their signed contract, and paid JWIZ more money to get out of the auto renewal. During this exchange with JWIZ, they kept asking me if I had my contract in front of me. I had to go to my files to get it, but if I didn't have it, it was my word against theirs. This is where they are clearly taking advantage of small businesses that were suckered into advertising with them . It wasn't enough to get $3000 for one year, without any referrals, as promised, by a toll free number or a listing on the website,

which never happened. But now they want to extort another $3000 from my company, for doing nothing for another year. This is an A+ BBB rated company, and I am casting my doubt on the accuracy of the BBB, since small businesses, like mine, heavily rely on ratings by BBB to protect us from scam companies like this one.

Not 1 referral!

$3,000.00 and 10 months later and not a single referral, inquiry, NOTHING! Oh these guys are great if you want to receive endless emails about rentals

in Israel and shoe stores going out of business but otherwise a MAJOR scam. And watch out for the "automatic renewal" clause that hooks you for another

year unless you give at least 30 days notice not to renew. Lastly, I was to be one of 2 or 3 listings in my field but there were at least 10 the last time I looked.
