I booked airfares (bundle of 3 tickets for family vacation) for a vacation usign JustFly.com (redirected from Kayak) and received multiple charges on my Credit Card from the Airline company TAM Airlines in the amount of ~$3,000 (each airfare bundle). Although many of the charges (around 3 or 4) did not go through and disapeared from the pending transactions, 3 charges (bundles in the amount of ~$3,000) went through for a total of ~$9,000. The very first charge was immediately refunded, however there are still 2 charges (~$6,000) active on my credit card statement. The total amound that was authorized for the payment of the vacation was only ~$3,000 therefore there are ~$3,000 of unauthorized charges on my credit card. I contacted JustFly.com a few days later and let them know about the situation. They requested that I sent them a copy of my CC statement showing the transactions which was sent to them the same day. I was told that they were going to monitor the transactions and if the overcharge was not automatically refunded in 8-10 business days that I should let them know. I contacted them on the 11th day and let them know that the charges are still active on my CC account. They once again requested that I sent them my statements (which I did) and that they would contact me within 2-3 days while they investigated. I called them back on the 15th day and requested to talk to a suppervisor/manager who once again requested for the CC statements (which I sent him right away). I was told by the supervisor that he would contact by the end of the day with a resolution.. It has been 4 days since that conversation with the supervisor (19 days since the charges went through) now and I have not been contacted by JustFly.com with a resolution.
I have spent countless hours on the phone with these incompetent people and the customer service is piss poor. The lack of urgency to resolve a mistake on their part is Unacceptable and a disrespect to myself as a consumer!! I am still waiting for a resolution and I am being very patient but enough is enough! I will be filing a formal complaing with the Bureau of Consumer Protection within the next few days.. Let's see if they will contact me then!
Do not use Just.Fly for any business.. They have no respect for their customer!
Terrible customer service. Associate was rude and condescending over the phone after I had waited 25 mins to speak with a representative. After being treated rudely I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, the employee reluctantly transferred me to a supervisor after waiting another ten mins. The supervisor was just as rude and terrible as the employee. He undermined me, my opinion and called me a liar. I will never use this site again.
Yesterday August 31, 2015 I order 2 tickets from SAT to GDL from JustFly through Kayak. They accept my credit card, I get a locator number, all seems fine. This morning September 1, I get an Email from JustFly stating that "there is a problem" and I must call them (copy enclosed). I spend 1/2h (11:20 to 11:40 am) talking with someone to learn that the price has increased . By 6 bucks, on a $450 total... I accept the bait and switch letting them know how stupid this looks. The nice woman thanks me, confirms tickets and hangs up. Then at 13:30 I get a call from a JustFly "supervisor" who has absolutely no clue. Would I accept the price increase?. I inform him that the problem is resolved and offer the services of this retired business consultant to straighten up their operation. 10 more minutes. I know they do not pay those poor guys very much but one hour of labor (including a supervisor ) wasted for 6 bucks? Plus the aggravation of the customer who is gona tell the world about this. And their fees for changing plans ($250 per person) are just outrageous by the way. Justfy should be JustFake or JustBait&Switch.
