First: They are a cash-only business. You will have no recourse when they fail to fix your item the first time around.
Second: They will charge and additional $40 if you have to bring your item back because they did not fix it first time around. I have had to re-visit them 4 times because they did not fix my gear the first and second time around.
Third: I concur with many other ex-customers - the owner (Tom Fiducci (?)) should NOT be in a business which requires interacting with other people in any capacity. He is pointlessly rude, and short-tempered for issues that are perfectly reasonable. (I called for status regarding my equipment and he had a melt-down that I should use the website. THe website does NOT work. Also, consider that this is a firm that advertises competency in building websites. Watch out.
My Story: I brought a vintage Marantz pre-amp and amplifier in for repair. I accepted the stated charge but NO mention was made that they are CASH-ONLY (IRS please check this out). The failed to fix the pre-amp the first time around - one of the stereo sides was not working when I got it home. Apparently they dont test their work if indeed they do any work.
They did restore the pre-amp to full stereo after the second visit however the phones jack still does not work.
2 days later I inadvertently noticed one side of the amplifier was running hot enough to fry bacon. I am lucky to have caught this as it would have surely flamed out soon. I brought it back in for them to run tests for several days. They then charged me another $40 for bench time. They claimed the problem was 'in my house' and there was nothing to fix. Laughable. I run a comercial music studio and am well versed in analog and digital audio and how to connect amplifiers to speakers. In all humility, I know my stuff. Just Service simply finished the job they half-assed the first time around.
Lastly, I must bring up the owner again as he is absurdly distemperate and cranky. Dealing with this burn-out is a gross annoyance let alone having to shell out way too much money for work done (if it is in fact ever done)
You've been warned. Just Service is a CASH ONLY business. You have zero recourse if there is any dispute for service or charges
