I switched my website to another web host and domain registrar in December 2020. I removed my billing information from my JustHost account. Then, in August 2021 JustHost billed me through PayPal for web hosting renewal on a domain they are no longer hosting!
I got them to refund me after I told them I was filing a PayPal complaint. My advice is to check your PayPal autobilling settings frequently and remove any unwanted companies.
STAY AWAY FROM JUSTHOST!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was forced into this company last year when the one I had originally signed up for closed and transferred accounts to this bullsh%t company. Last year I was advised that my free domain with hosting wasn't offered with them.
Whatever, the problem though you can't renew because your account got caught in limbo with the company transfer. My website was offline, fun. Eventually got fixed, and was told that the domain would be free for 1 year. Two months later, they brought my website down again and said that I didn't renew the domain. I just paid for a year and moved on.
This year, I paid for renewal about two weeks before expiration. I waiting until the last minute for hosting because I was thinking of switching. Decided to pay for another year and weight my options. However, my panel wasn't reflecting my payment. Called and was told that system just needed to update and I was fine they see the payment.
The date comes and goes and guess what? My panel is still not updated. Call again. Again was told that everything was fine the system just needed to update. I pushed and said that something was wrong. Supposedly a ticket was opened. Today... my website is down. Tech support said because of no domain renewal on file.
Go through the whole dance about paying and calling and was told 24-28 hours because the tech support only does email. No option to escalate the issue I just have to wait. JUST STAY AWAY FROM JUST HOST!!!!!
