I have never signed up for a free trial with a company that wasn't willing to refund the changes if I didn't cancel before my card was charged. I think people should be warned that JumpStory is a unique company in that they are unwilling to refund your money if you subscribed accidentially after the free trial.
Even if you haven't used their services. In response to my request for a refund they wrote the following email. I also think it's concerning that they acknowledge that their warning email most likely goes to people's junk folders.

Dear Cynthia,
Thank you very much for reaching out to JumpStory regarding the yearly subscription that you signed up for.
You've asked for a refund, but I'm afraid that I can't help you with this.
When you signed up to JumpStory, we mentioned multiple times, how the signup process works. On our signup page, https://jumpstory.com/select, it's clearly stated that a yearly subscription has a 7 day free trial period.
During this free trial period we even send you an e-mail reminding you that you have to cancel, if you don't want your yearly subscription to activate after the free trial. The e-mail may appear in your spam folder based on your inbox settings, we unfortunately have no control over that.
Since you didn't do this, you have unlimited access to JumpStory for the next 12 months. This will give you lots of benefits such as:
Unlimited access to millions of authentic photos, videos, icons, vectors etc.
smart AI editing and image tools.
If there is anything that I can do to help you get the maximum value from the next 12 months, please do let me know.
Here is our refund policy, which you also approved, when you signed up to JumpStory: www.jumpstory.com/refund-policy.
Best regards,
