In July, 2019, Tom Julian and his companies (JUL-TV and Creare Media) were paid $10,000. In exchange for that sum of money, Julian was responsible for pre-production, production and post-production of 13 episodes of a tv entertainment talk show hosted by my 22 year old daughter. 3 episodes were filmed. Julian wanted another $5,000. When we refused to pay it, all work on my daughter's tv show came to a complete halt. The only reason the 3 episodes were ever aired was because my daughter spent hours doing the post-production editing that Julian was contractually obligated to do.
We were going to walk away and just accept the fact that this was a lesson learned. However, then we found out that Julian had a pattern of doing the same thing to other people. There are at least 5 other show hosts were Julian took $5,000 - $10,000 and never delivered the number of shows he agreed to. Each of the 5 shows have now severed all ties with Tom Julian, JUL-TV and Creare Media.
Julian would hire vendors (videographers or editors) and not pay the money he owed them. He used a studio to film a number of shows, including my daughter's show and Julian did not pay the studio owner.
Julian would use false statements to entice people to invest and buy "shares" or "points" in his "JUL-TV network". It should be pointed out that as of May, 2020, JUL-TV is not registered with the California Secretary of State. His other company, Creare Media LLC is properly registered with the Secretary of State but he was not selling "shares" or "points" in Creare Media.
Julian's conduct even included him catergorizing JUL-TV employees and interns as Independent Contractors.
If you are considering doing business with Tom Julian, JUL-TV or Creare Media, it's important that you do your due diligence, especially if Julian wants you to pay him any of your hard earned money.
