Judge Edward Milton Chen aka Eddie the Commie is a Federal Judge in the Northern District of California and had proved himself to be a hanging judge with very regard for defendants and their lives. My name is Joseph Corey, and I have faced the wrath of Judge Chen. With his God complex firmly entrenched Judge Chen runs his courtroom with bias, as a bigot and a bully, and has made it perfectly clear that in his courtroom black lives do not seem to matter - however, incoherent arguments of self righteous indignation and fury of a prosecutor do (Prosecutor Mohit Gourisaria aka The Mohat). Judge Chen refused to read pertinent documents that were provided by my defence attorney, that showed evidence and proving factually that the allegations we're demonstrably false. Instead, the court incorrectly construed my role and involvement and therefore determined that a more severe sentence was warranted. Judge Chen bent over backwards to accommodate the prosecutor. He also refused to listen and consider the relevant Booker factors (Booker vs. United States). In Booker vas. United States the supreme court held that defendant who perform extraordinary acts of service or charity and entitled to a downward variance at sentencing. Such was not the case with Judge Chen when he dismissed Dr. Kunihara's testimony as though he was dismissing the help. Doctor Faith Kunihara flew to the United States from Uganda, Africa to testify in person on my behalf regarding my donations - funds used to purchase vans for medical transport as well as to help build a medical clinic. Dr Kunihara said these acts of kindness and charity were directly responsible for saving well over one thousand black lives, more than a third of which were children. She also testified has I not been involved in her organization, so many would have died unnecessarily. Furthermore, I have a homeless man, Issac Young, one of my homes in Beverly Hills, CA to stay and live in for free for what turned out to be three years. I supposed someone thought the story worthy of being told, as an article about my acts was published in the Beverly Hills Courier newspaper. Issac Young said in an interview "Mr Corey changed my life forever". (I did not do this for recognition) Moreover, Judge Chen failed to read the news articles that submitted by my defense attorney. The Judge seemed confused with The Mohat's baseless allegations of monetary loss for which he could not provide proof. Nevertheless, Judge Chen still decided to side with The Mohat's shameless pursuit of a conviction over justice and simply ignore my acts of charity and service altogether. More than two dozen letters were written on my behalf and submitted to the court detailing many example of charity and kindness over the years as well as touching testimonials of my integrity and character. Apparently, the judge did not read those either, because has he read anything about me he would have understood the kind of person I am and the kind of life I led for 58 years and perhaps would have taken into consideration that one mistake should not u do a lifetime of good deeds at the time of my sentencing. To that end, Judge Chen decided to impose a much harsher sentence, one with extreme prejudice to an inconceivable 108 month (9 years) in Federal Prison. While disregarding my generosity he has in fact showed that he is a hanging judge and that neither one thousand plus black lives or extraordinary acts of service and charity seem to matter in Judge Chen's San Francisco courtroom. Since my sentencing, I have filed a complaint against Judge Chen aka Eddie the Commie for bias, judicial misconduct, abuse of power and professional ethics with the 9th circuit court of appeals.
