In mid-Feb, 2017 I moved out of shared living space with my children's mom. From mid-Feb until March I visited my children a few hours in the morning before work and in the evening for a few hours after. On my off days I picked them up and kept them all day. In April and May I began to keep them for 3 nights. In June once my living situation was more favorable I kept my children from Friday to Monday. This worked well for us until July 7, 2017 when my children's mom decided to draft up a parenting agreement (after her failed attempts of trying to control me through my children) without any input from me stating I would get my children from Thursday 5pm to Sunday 5pm. Since I was already getting them from Friday to Monday this was ok with me. She emailed me the parenting agreement and asked to meet at the UPS store to get it notarized. I was a little upset about the whole idea of allowing the system to dictate when or for how long I could be with my kids but unfortunately their mom chose this path for us. I show up to sign the parenting agreement that she emailed me (at least I thought). I signed the last page, didn't think anything of it, didn't get a copy of it (big mistake). July 17, 2017 I show up to Sam's Club (our agreed upon drop off/pick-up location) 15 minutes to 4pm, at 4:45 I finally leave. I return home and eventually receive a text from their mom wanting me to return to Sam's Club immediately, and if I didn't, I just need to meet her at the police station the next day. I told her I had prior obligations and couldn't come all the way back, but she could meet me closer to where I lived, she eventually did. That was the last time I saw my children again until Aug. 21, 2017. Throughout that time their mom filed false TPO's (Since Feb 3rd in total, all were denied!), kidnapped my kids from me, denied me access to my non-biological child of hers that is 12 years old now, and I'm the only dad she has known since she was 4 years old (This was the first thing she had to do in order for a child support case to have any relevance). We arrive to our first hearing on Aug 17, 2017 and there is now a "new" parenting agreement stating I would only have my kids from Sunday 5pm-Tuesday 5pm. I immediately told Judge Hoskin that I knew nothing of it or agreed to a document stating I would get them now from Sunday-Tuesday because the ONLY parenting agreement I received via email from my children's mom (second thing she did in order for a child support case to have any relevance). The judge MADE us go by this agreement anyway until our last hearing Nov 30, 2017. We had about 3 more hearing for petty filings by my children's mom leading up to the evidentiary hearing Nov 30. On top of this I also made the judge aware that I would have a pending civil case ($312,395 lawsuit and have since filed paperwork, waiting on her response as I type this) against her for embezzlement and fraudulent action against the business that I funded\started with which she hi-jacked and none of the facts meant anything to Judge Hoskin. He was very unprepared and didn't read much, if anything at all about our case. Example: One of the petty filings my ex-complained that I wasn't following was the online schooling she set up for our children (once again without any input of any suggestions from me, as a way to control me through my kids yet again. I told her I would follow the lessons but she had to at least send their Ipad to do their lessons on, but she refused to). J. Hoskin didn't realize that my two oldest children weren't even of school age until the 3rd hearing, yet my ex continued to lie and file just to file erronious claims against me. Judge Hoskin ruled in her favor, and ordered me to pay her child support and arears for time periods I had the children as much or more than my ex. On December 29, 2017, I filed a Motion And Notice Of Motion For Orders To Set Aside Order, Judgment, And/Or Default. Our hearing was set for Feb 8, 2018 9am. I arrived, didnt see my ex, the ballif eventually brings me out a paper stating he wasn't going to review my case. I have since filed for an appeal on the Supreme court level. I dont understand how this system can say it is for justice but allow people like this to make rulings on peoples lives. I wish I had read up on more about him before allowing him to rule on our case, because he was obviously not qualified to do so.
