I'm not sure why there are a lot of complaints on here, but I just want to share my personal experience dealing with JR Auto Protect. I just recently purchased an extended auto warranty, my sales person is Marciano ******. During the initial sign up etc., he was honest, friendly and very professional with his quote and the type of service they offered. Who knew that I would have to use the warranty only a few months later for some extensive work. Even though Marciano was only the sales person, and not working with the warranty company, he went beyond the call of his duty to follow up with the warranty company on my claim, follow up on the status, and practically held my hand through the process. He is awesome! And, the warranty company paid my claim in full, the repairs have been done, it was a seamless process. I highly recommend JR Auto Protect!
I bought an extended warranty for my Mercedes ML350 Bluetec and this company flat out lied when "making the sale" I have never tried to use it until today. Their company agent "Sunpass" turned the repair down stating it was a warranty specific plan. I was told that this policy covered "Everything from Bumper to Bumper" including relays, switches, transmissions, everything...EXCEPT normal items likes brakes, oil changes etc. That is a flat out lie.
I am paying in the neighbor hood of $125/mo for a total price of around $2500.00. I called this company to complain and spoke to the guy who sold it to me. He identified himself as "JR" and told me he would never say that things were covered so. I asked to cancel the policy and he stated I needed to write a letter and send it to them to cancel. I was not friendly in any way to him...I DO NOT RESPCT THIEVES. I make no apology for that. I asked him to send me the policy again by email and where to send the letter. I have yet to receive this. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE THIEVES. '
I have never had a problem getting my jeep liberty repaired with JR.Industries LLC. They always paid for the repairs at the dealership. I am very satisfied with their service.
I purchased an extended warranty from J R Protect last year for our 2011 Nissan Sentra. Yesterday, I took it to our mechanic because the air conditioner had stopped blowing cool air. Our mechanic came to me and said he had bad news and wanted to know how badly we wanted to keep the car. He said that the compressor was bad and it's going to cost over $878.00 to fix it. I said that I have an extended warranty on it. I called J R Customer Service, spoke with my very nice agent Jamie, and was given the number for my mechanic to speak with Claims. Less than 2 hrs later I was driving off the shop lot with cool air that only cost us $105. JR Auto Protect took care of us in a quick, smooth, timely fashion. I'm so glad we chose them over the other warranty companies that I called.
I was given a quote. Two days later they threatened to bump up the quote by $500 and stated they would close me out because I had not yet accepted the offer. I don't do business through threats. Very rude emails and high pressure techniques. Now that I have read other's complaints, I feel lucky I did not do business with them.
